Cook restaurant quality meals!
Each box comes with 4 recipe kits and 4 step-by-step recipe cards.
Following the recipes, you combine the kits with 4-6 items from your fridge or cupboard.
Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First from this box I cooked the Chicken Katsu Curry. In this kit you get Pickled Salad Mix, Katsu Curry Paste and Gochujang Sauce.

We love this dish and have it regularly. It's probably one of the dishes we've had the most so I try and make sure I try new dishes before heading back to this one.
We enjoy it every time we have it, I still think it's better than some others we've had.

Next from this box I cooked the Indian Masala Lamb Chops. In this kit you get Masala Paste, Spice Blend and Mint Chutney.

This is another dish we have a lot, I feel like this dish is always full of flavour and is a real treat.

Next from this box I cooked the Penne Alla Rustica. In this kit you get Garlic & Rosemary Mix, Rustica Paste and Red Pepper Sprinkle.

Skye doesn't eat this with plain pasta anymore, she has it all mixed together like I do. The flavours work really well together, I love the Chorizo with the tomatoes and pasta.

Lastly from this box I cooked the Baja Fish Tacos. In this kit you get Baja Blend, Salsa Bandera Seasoning and Habanero Hot Sauce.

Heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas Mark 6.

Bake the fish.

Make the fillings

Warm the tortillas.

Assemble your tacos.

Serve!

I don't know if it's because I used frozen fish rather than chilled, but this wasn't really a dish for us. The flavours were okay, but it wasn't something I would rush to have again.

Now let me get to the business side of the Simply Cook boxes, each box comes with 4 recipe kits which include 3 pots of sauces, herb, stock etc, as well as 4 step-by-step recipe cards, that contain the full list of ingredients you'll need, and alternatives etc.
You can choose which dishes you would like in your box, or you can leave it to the Simply Cook gang and let them randomly pick your dishes to enjoy. You can set your preferences whether you're wanting something mild to spicy, something family friendly, there's recipes from all around the world.
You can choose how often you would like your boxes, whether that would be weekly, fortnightly, or even every 4 weeks. You can also change, pause or even cancel your subscription at any time.
Each box is £11.78 or £9.99 if you click ship now, with your first box being a trial price of £3.

Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First from this box I cooked the Japanese Seared Steak. In this kit you get Steak Rub, Shichimi Rice Stock & Shiro Miso Paste.

We always enjoy this dish, the flavours are always perfect. Skye never has the miso sauce, which I think she misses out on as it adds so much flavour. I always have to try and cook Skye's steak a little more as she doesn't like it medium rare like me.

Next from this box I cooked the Indochinese Hakka Noodles. In this kit you get Indochinese Spice Rub, Indochinese Paste & Hakka Sauce.

This is another dish we love having. The flavours always work really well together. I'm always gutted when I finish this dish as it's really nice.

Next from this box I cooked the Masala Lamb Chops. In this kit you get Masala Paste, Spice Blend & Mint Chutney.

This is another of our favourite dishes. I always look forward to this dish and always do extra potatoes for the mint chutney dip. Even Skye loves this one, it's one of her choices if I ask what we're adding to the box.

Last from this box I cooked the Chipotle Grilled Steak Salad. In this kit you get Lemon & Herb Blend, Ancho Steak Rub & Chipotle Paste.

This is yet another favourite of ours, I love how colourful it is and as you can see, Skye doesn't like avocado, so I end up with it all. The flavours work really well together.

First from this box I cooked the Penne Alla Rustica. In this kit you get Garlic & Rosemary Mix, Rustica Paste and Red Pepper Sprinkle.

I love this dish, we've had it quite a few times and enjoyed it each time. It's filling and always full of flavour. The tomatoes work perfectly with the chorizo.

Next from this box I cooked the Masala Lamb Chops. In this kit you get Masala Paste, Spice Blend and Mint Chutney.

This is another favourite of ours. It's a regular pick for our boxes. We love everything about this dish, the flavours are amazing and we enjoy it every time we have it.

Next from this box I cooked the Cod & Chorizo Roasties. In this kit you get Smoky Paprika & Lemon Herb Mix, Herb Crust Blend and Saffron Aioli Mix.

Heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas Mark 6 and boil a full kettle.

Prep the cod.

Cook the roasties.

Meanwhile, prep the sides.

Serve!

As usual while I had cod, Skye had chicken and it was enjoyed by both. I've cooked this a few times now and I no longer add the peas to the dish as they weren't for me. The recipe calls for the frozen peas to be into a heatproof bowl and boiling water to be boiled over them and left for 3 minutes. If I added the peas again, I would cook them for longer. I also wasn't a fan of the flavour. Everything else was really nice. I especially loved the chorizo with the potatoes.

Next from this box I cooked the Teriyaki Salmon Donburi. In this kit you get Rice Stock, Teriyaki Sauce and Yasai Seasoning.

This was the 2nd time having this dish, and we really enjoyed it. We've had a few times since and enjoyed it each time. The only issue with this dish for me as with other rice dishes is the amount of rice as I followed the recipe and as you can see it's quite a lot for 2.
