Weigh In Wednesday!

Time for an update on from my last Weigh In Wednesday post but first lets recap my goals for this year.

My goals for 2017 are:
Weight loss - I'm a bridesmaid this year and I've gone for a dress size down for my dress so I'm wanting to if not go 1 but 2 dress sizes down from what I already am.
Tone up - with the weight loss I want to tone my stomach, thighs and arms back up, if I tone my bum up a bit more too then that's just a bonus.
Learn to drive - I've always wanted to learn to drive and I've got to the point that when my friends want to do something I feel like I have to say no because I hate having to always rely on them to come for me first, plus I always feel really cheeky asking for lifts to places.

Exercise and healthy eating has pretty much gone out of the window lately as we're going through some personal family issues at home, so a lot of it has been pushed to 1 side. I missed the last scheduled Weigh in Wednesday as I completely forgot to do my measurements etc and to even do a post, hence why there is a big jump in the dates of my measurements.
My driving lessons are going really well and I'm still enjoying it, I get frustrated sometimes but it's all part of the learning and just waiting on that moment when it all clicks in to place, I had my theory test just under a week ago and I sadly failed it by 3 marks on my Hazard Perception,  but I am going to be booking it back in soon so fingers crossed I do it next time.

Weigh In Wednesday!

Well it's time for an update on from my last Weigh In Wednesday post but first lets recap my goals for this year.

My goals for 2017 are:

Learn to drive - I've always wanted to learn to drive and I've got to the point that when my friends want to do something I feel like I have to say no because I hate having to always rely on them to come for me first, plus I always feel really cheeky asking for lifts to places.

I informed you of some of the things I had bought to start my process and people that I had contacted, well here is a little update. I haven't started the meal plans just yet from Kayla's book, I'm waiting to finish my Skinny Mint Teatox before I start any diet plans and as well as doing her circuit workouts from her book, I'm also going to do the circuit workouts from a book I ordered with my Teatox which is called Body Boss, the book states results start to show in as little as 2 weeks, so we will obviously be testing that out in my next update of Weigh In Wednesday.
So far I've had 3 driving lessons and I'm really enjoying it, I have my 4th lesson this week and I'm surprised that I feel like I'm getting the hang of it pretty quickly, even after only 3 lessons I don't really like being a passenger anymore, a few friends have put the pressure on though by saying they think I will pass on my first test, so I want to make sure I do and prove them right and not let them down. I have started revising again for my theory test and it's been booked for April so fingers crossed, I pass this time on my first attempt.

Weigh In Wednesday!

I've decided it's time I attempt getting my behind in gear again, 2016 really wasn't a year for my self confidence physically or mentally, you may have noticed this as I took some time out from blogging for personal reasons. Like last year I have decided to give myself goals and with these goals they have a deadline which is by October, not all of which are to do with how I look.

My goals for 2017 are:
Weight loss - I'm a bridesmaid this year and I've gone for a dress size down for my dress so I'm wanting to if not go 1 but 2 dress sizes down from what I already am.
Tone up - with the weight loss I want to tone my stomach, thighs and arms back up, if I tone my bum up a bit more too then that's just a bonus.
Learn to drive - I've always wanted to learn to drive and I've got to the point that when my friends want to do something I feel like I have to say no because I hate having to always rely on them to come for me first, plus I always feel really cheeky asking for lifts to places.

I believe if I focus on these 3 goals for the time being that it will help me build my confidence up and possibly open up new doors for me, I feel like I have to be guided by Yoda's mantra to succeed do or do not, there is no try.

Steps have already been made to start each of these goals, a driving instructor has been contacted, I've purchased my Skinny Mint teatox to start and I have a workout app and book by Kayla Itsines, which has a workout poster and meal plans that also include the recipe's for the meals. There is also lots of information in it to help you with the knowledge of what each food group does for your body, it helps to educate you on the changes you want to make.

Weigh in Wednesday!

So it's a new year, are you trying to create a new you? I know many people's new years resolutions always have the usual eating healthy, loose weight, cut out junk plans that tend to last till the end of January and get to the end of the year again and think I should have tried harder, but this year I decided instead of the usual new years resolution's I'd give myself goals and not just try and tone up and do more exercise, I would do a full body overhaul.
My goals for 2016 are:
weight loss
(My BMI says I'm overweight)
Tone up
(arms, stomach, bum, thighs)
Skin care regime
Wearing more make-up
Making more effort when dressing
(more skirts and dresses etc)

I know some of you may look at the goals and think they're not really big changes but personally for me, for a girl that got stuck in the rut of constantly wearing jeans and a T-shirts, hardly wearing any make-up anymore and just constantly looking in a mirror and disliking what I saw looking back at me. I will honestly say because of my lack of self confidence I haven't been the best girlfriend, which I'm sure at times when I'm putting myself down Andrew would love to hit me round the head and tell me to stop being stupid, let me get back on track and tell you what I've been doing so far.

January started with a SkinnyMint teatox which I did as a bestie package with my friend Liv, we both did the 28 day teatox, I'm not sure if it came with two but I followed the calendar that they sent to give myself more of a boost while having the tea's, I also downloaded an app on to my phone that had 30 day challenges on many problem areas we have, I started the 30 day abs challenge, sadly I only got up to day 17 as I ended up with cold and just couldn't face doing the 100 crunches and 100 sit ups and then it all just went out the window. There was also a couple of times that I walked to work.

Weigh In Wednesday!

I've finally made some progress on getting back into some sort of exercise, Sunday just gone I went for a run/jog/walk for half an hour up and down the drive at Andrew's and something must have worked as I got up the next day and my thighs ached. For someone that doesn't tend to run or jog anymore I thought I did quite well doing 3km. After running I weighed myself so I could give an up to date weight and as expected I have put on a few pounds but I'm sure with time I will work it off and will have got back into my whole exercise regime again.

While running/jogging/walking (yes I did all three) I had on my workout playlist for the first time and stuck it on shuffle, and though it did keep me motivated I also lip-synched my way through the songs which in turn made the exercise more fun and exciting.
