When global superstar Piuno is threatened by those who wish to see him brought low, there's only one thing he can do to save his reputation and his career; work at a pet daycare.
Pushing aside his severe dislike for animals, Piuno begins working alongside the daycare's director, Dae Byeol, who helps him find ways to overcome his hatred of animals.
As his heart begins to soften, unexpected feelings for Dae Byeol begin to arise.
Could their current working relationship grow into something more?

Like most Korean BL drama's this is a short and sweet series. I loved the casting and I loved the plot. I liked how they got both Korean and Thai within the show. I've watched a collab drama before and it seemed odd having them communicate with both languages, but with this drama they explained it way better and had it make more sense with that they would use a translator to be able to communicate with each other.
I'm loving that more make K-pop idols are dipping their toes into acting in BL's and I loved seeing Chu Siwoo take more of a spotlight as he doesn't seem to get much screen time and lines in JUSTB, I also loved seeing Geonu act alongside him, even if there seemed to be a one-sided love story with them.
While I actually already knew of Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat, this was actually my first time watching him in a drama and I thought he was really cute and adorable.
I personally think that this drama could have had more episodes and looked more into Jun Hyuk's affection for Dae Byeol.
I loved watching the main 2's relationship develop as well as how each character grew.
I hope to see Siwoo and Geonu act in more drama's and seeing their skills grow and change, I also want to check out more of Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat's drama's I'm sure I have some of his drama's on my to watch list on Viki.

As you can see from the above picture, I didn't watch many drama's. In fact I only completed 3 that I'd not already watched before. When it came to both drama's and reading books, I juust wasn't feeling it.

So here are the 3 drama's I watched in 2024.

First we have Happiness.
Happiness is a 2021, South Korean apocalyptic thriller drama. The series was written Han Sang-woon, and directed by Ahn Gil-ho.
It aired via tvN between November 5h and November 11th 2021, it contains 12 episodes and is available to stream on Netflix.
The series stars Han Hyo-joo, Park Hyung-sik and Jo Woo-jin.
I absolutely loved this drama, it didn't take me long to complete. This had been on my to watch list since it was originally released but didn't get to watch it till it came onto Netflix. I'm a sucker for zombie shows and films, especially Korean.
I loved the casting and it definitely had me on the edge of my seat.

Next we have Love Is A Cat.
Love Is Like A Cat is a 2024, South Korean and Thai collaboration BL drama. The series was written by Kim Ki-suk and directed by Kwon Nam-ki.
It aired between April 1, 2024 and 6th May 2024, it contains 12 episodes.
The series stars Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat as Piuno, Chu Siwoo (previously known as Jimin/JM, Lee Geonu and Kim Kyoung-seok.
I enjoyed this drama, it's a typical short and sweet series. I didn't think it felt rushed and seemed to pace really well. I loved that to be able to keep both Korean and Thai in the drama the characters were using earpieces that translated meaning they could communicate without it being odd.

Lastly we have The Untamed
The Untamed is a 2019, Chinese drama. The series was written by Yang Xia, Deng Yaoyu, Ma Jing and Guo Guangyun. It was directed by Zheng Weiwen and Chen Jialin.
The series is based on the Danmei novel Mo Dao Zu Shi aka Grandmaster Of Demonic Cultivation by Mo Xiang TongXiu.
The series aired via Tencent Video and aired between June 27th and August 20th 2019. It contains 50 episodes.
The series stars Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo.
While it may have taken me a while to actually watch this drama, I enjoyed it from start to finish. The casting was perfection, the sets, cinematography, clothing was absolutely stunning. Even the music was stunning. It's definitely a favourite of mine.

So there we have it, they were the 3 dramas I watched in 2024. I'm definitely making sure I get stuck into more dramas in 2025, I've already nearly finished my first drama for 2025.

What dramas did you watch in 2024?
