As expected their were songs in the OST that I loved, and as soon as I hear them it takes me back.

Hua Zhou - Mr. Perfect and Miss Almost

Hank Qi - In Situ

Known as much for his intelligence and his looks, statistics professor Zhang Si Nian was considered by many to be perfect in every way. As a man who pursued perfection in every aspect of his life, Si Nian has always been happy to live up to the rumours surrounding him. But his perfect world is thrown into chaos after he meets Yun Shu, a statistics student enrolled in one of his classes.
An optimistic, albeit simple young lady, Yun Shu never meant to cause any problems; but when her cousin cheats her out of a large sum of money, she quickly finds herself homeless. Coincidently enough, Yun Shu crosses paths with Si Nian who, at an uncharacteristic moment of weakness, makes Yun Shu an offer she can't refuse. Pressured by his ailing grandfather to marry, Si Nian see's Yun Shu as a means to end and offers her a place to live, in exchange for pretending to be his girlfriend. Unfortunately, SI Nian's grandfather isn't willing to settle for anything other than marriage.
Agreeing to a contract marriage, Si Nian and Yun Shu find themselves in a place neither of them could have imagined. However, with time and understanding, feelings naturally grow between them.
Could this mismatched marriage of convenience turn into one of love?

I feel like Chinese drama's tend to follow the same trope when it comes to their entertainment, whether it be drama's or books etc. But that being said these tend to be the dramas that pique an interest which makes me watch them.
This is the typical marriage contract story between strangers that in time feelings are formed and the relationship becomes real.
I love the cast in this drama I thought they did a really good job at portraying their characters and the storyline wasn't too boring or frustrating to the point I thought it was being dragged out.

I liked Wei Zhe Ming as Zhang Si Nian, he really brought his role to life and it was fun seeing his character change throughout the drama. He seemed to me a character that doesn't really care for emotions and that his work always came first in his life, something that changes as he gets used to living with Yun Shu. The more they get to know one another, the more he seems to open himself up.
I loved Xu Ruo Han as Yun Shu, her character is the typical naïve and positive young woman that tries to see the positive in any bad outcome. She tends to put her friends and family first and tries to help wherever she can. She definitely brings a brightness to people's lives which in turn makes them fall for her.
While we have the main couple of the drama, we also see feelings and love blossom between two other couples too, one with friends Gao Zhi Yi and Lin Nuo played amazingly by Zhao Luo Ran and Sheng Gang Shuai. They're Yun Shu's friends and Lin Nuo harbours a one sided love for Gao Zhi Yi and is often a shoulder for her to cry on when her relationships end badly. Our their couple is Yun Lan and Lu Yu played by Marguax and Dai Yun Fan. Yun Lan is Yun Shu's protective sister and Lu Yu is Si Nian's friend. Lu Yu stubbornly pursues Yun Lan, but eventually gets her to remove the walls she has around her heart for him, while still keeping him at an arms length. She's definitely the one that controls the relationship, which the saying is that she's the one that wears the trousers in their relationship.
Cui Ke Fa was adorable as Si Nian's Grandfather, in this typical drama genre it's the grandfather who wants the marriage to happen an I loved that he low-key knew that they were in a fake relationship but still tried to push them together. I loved his relationship with Yun Shu, from the get go he treats her like his granddaughter.
I feel like Hank Qi was meant to bring in the second male lead syndrome as Lawyer Meng Ran, he's protective of Yun Shu and seems to develop feelings for her, but for me I never saw him as a possible end game for our female lead.
Joy Sheng was brought in as Lin Chu Chu to be the spanner in the works in the possibility we would see conflict between Si Nian and Yun Shu, with a former love interest appearing. But for me in that instance it fell short.

I thought this drama was really cute and I loved the cast an storyline, I liked that it didn't just focus on the male and female leads and we also got side couples as well as friendships and families. I'd definitely recommend giving this show a watch.

Korean Drama - The Tasty Florida

The Tasty Florida is a 2021 South Korean BL web series directed by Yang Kyeong Hui.
It aired September 24, 2021 - October 15, 2021.
The series has 8 episodes.

Main Cast:
Cha Woo Min as Seo Hae Won

Yu Hwan as Baek Eun Gyu
Google Images

Supporting Cast:
Moon Kang Hyuk as Cha Ji Soo
Google Images

Zeze (Choi Jae Hoon) as Ha Jin
Google Images

Yoo Seung Jun as Joo Seo Hyeok

Yoon Ye Hee as Guest House Host

This drama has some amazing tracks on it's OST, including from the shows cast.
Yoo Hwan, Cha Woo Min, Moon Kang Hyuk, Zeze, Yoo Seung Jun - Florida

Runy - Star

Yoo Hwan - It's You

2Z - All I Need

College freshman, Seo Hae Won moves into a guesthouse above Florida Banjeom, a popular Chinese restaurant. Despite being recommended for a part-time job by Cha Ji Soo, Hae Won finds himself at odds with the restaurant's owner and head chef, Baek Eun Gyu, who seems to instantly dislike him.
Working alongside colleagues Ha Jin and Joo Seo Hyeok, Hae Won quickly adapts to the restaurant environment and attracts attention from patrons.
As he becomes more comfortable, he unexpectedly develops feelings for his cold-hearted boss, Eun Gyu.
The story explores whether Hae Won can overcome the initial tension and win Eun Gyu's heart.

As usual for a Korean BL series, this is a short and sweet series. I thought the cast did really well and I had some serious 2nd male lead syndrome.
I thought the plot flowed really well considering the episodes had a runtime of around 11 minutes each.
I really liked Cha Woo Min as Seo Hae Won, he definitely brought a naivety and innocence to the role, He seems to be doing really well for himself and seems to be doing quite a few villain roles, and for me with this being my introduction to him shows he's an amazing actor. Hae Won as a character seems to be really open about things and willing to accept his feelings for Eun Gyu. I don't think if it's ever brought up in the series what his sexuality is at the start and whether he was initially straight and grew feelings for Eun Gyu or if his character was gay from the start.
Yu Hwan was really good as Baek Eun Gyu, this was my first time watching Yu Hwan act so I'm not familiar with his acting style, so I would like to check out more of his roles to compare, but he did a good job of showing different emotions. Eun Gyu came across as someone who was unwilling to admit that he had feelings for another man, even though others around him could see it.
I loved Moon Kang Hyuk as Cha Ji Soo, I definitely had 2nd male lead syndrome with him and lowkey wanted Hae Won to fall for me, but I don't think Ji Soo whole heartedly liked him. Part of me feels he did want a romantic relationship with him but another part of me thinks that he was trying to push Eun Gyu into admitting how he felt about Hae Won. I'd love to check out more shows with Moon Kang Hyuk as I really enjoyed his acting.
I feel that the cast really bounced off one another and really told the story well and brought their characters to life.
I think even with how short the series is, we definitely get enough context to what's happening and for me it concluded really well, I wasn't left wondering what if and wasn't left with any unanswered questions.

This dramas has some pretty and stunning songs that fits the drama perfectly.
Cheero - Because of You

The Bridge - Romance

JNB - Couldn't Say

Lee Wan and Shin Ki Tae are best friends. At school, they are almost inseparable and are always to be found hanging out together outside the classroom. Lee Wan is also attracted to Shin Ki Tae, and wants to start a romantic relationship with him. One day, Lee Wan confesses his feelings to his friend, who is stunned by this.
The duo parts ways on unhappy terms.
Now, seven years later, the two young men are trying to navigate the job market - with varying degrees of success. Shin Ki Tae has become a middle manager and a team leader of a startup gaming company. He has built up a reputation as a programming ace.
Lee Wan, meanwhile, has become a keen illustrator. When Shin Ki Tae's company posts a job ad for an illustrator for a new dating-themed game, Lee Wan comes for an interview.
Could romance spark for these two the second time around?

I make it no secret that I love a good BL drama and when I came across this one, I decided it needed to be watched, and I'm glad I did. The casting for the male leads were amazing, I couldn't imagine anyone else playing those roles.
It's a really short and sweet drama, you can watch all 8 episodes in one sitting, as they range no more than 15-20 minutes per episode.
I think the story flows pretty well for how short the episodes are, I wasn't left with any unanswered questions, the screenwriter did a really good job.
The cast did a great job, especially the leads, they pulled me in from the very first episode.
I really loved Lee Seung Gyu as Shin Ki Tae, I loved him in his role and I definitely want to check out any other drama's he's in. He's definitely got a smile that makes you fall for him. Shin Ki Tae came across as someone who loved having fun, I loved that even when they lost contact, he had an idea that the illustrator he was following online was Lee Wan and continued to support his work, unbeknownst that it was about him.
I also really loved Lee Jong Hyuk as Lee Wan, he really played his role perfectly. Lee Wan comes across as naive and a little unlucky with his dreams as well as his job searching. I felt sorry for him when it came out the seven years before there was a misunderstanding, meaning they both lost 7 years of their friendship (or maybe more than that).
I loved watching how things developed between the two of them, and I definitely felt we got closure by the end, while you always wonder what happens next for them, it ended perfectly, to not need a second season to see how it all played out.
