Cook restaurant quality meals!
Each box comes with 4 recipe kits and 4 step-by-step recipe cards.
Following the recipes, you combine the kits with 4-6 items from your fridge or cupboard.
Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First from this box I cooked the Penne Alla Rustica. In this kit you get the Garlic & Rosemary Mix, Rustica Paste and Red Pepper Sprinkle.
I enjoy getting this recipe, it's full of flavour, and the chorizo works perfectly with everything.

Next from this box I cooked the Lamb Keema Matar. In this kit you get the Garlic Paste, Keema Curry Paste and Garam Masala.

Start the keema.

Add the curry paste.

Toast the breads.

Serve!

I'm not the biggest fan of peas, so I did find them a little off putting, but other than that the flavours were nice. If I cook this again, I'd leave out the peas.

Next from this box I cooked the Bean & Sweetcorn Quesadilla. In this kit you get Quesadilla Paste, Pico De Gallo and Spicy BBQ Sauce.

Cook the filling.

Make your condiments.

Cook the quesadillas.

Serve!

The flavours are really nice for these, but they're not my favourite thing to make. I always either end up burning them or myself. I'll happily make them if Skye asked me, but they're not a dish I enjoy cooking.

Last from this box I cooked Sausage & Fennel Pasta. In this kit you get Chilli & Fennel Mix, Smoked Salt & Chive and Garlic Vegetable Stock.

We've had this a few times since and enjoy it enjoy time, I now make enough pasta to pop it into the freezer for when I have a full day at work. I also don't add ricotta cheese onto the top either as I wasn't a fan the first time round. I've recently made this again and don't remember it having ricotta cheese anymore, so I think they may have changed up the recipe.

Now let me get to the business side of the Simply Cook boxes, each box comes with 4 recipe kits which include 3 pots of sauces, herb, stock etc, as well as 4 step-by-step recipe cards, that contain the full list of ingredients you'll need, and alternatives etc.
You can choose which dishes you would like in your box, or you can leave it to the Simply Cook gang and let them randomly pick your dishes to enjoy. You can set your preferences whether you're wanting something mild to spicy, something family friendly, there's recipes from all around the world.
You can choose how often you would like your boxes, whether that would be weekly, fortnightly, or even every 4 weeks. You can also change, pause or even cancel your subscription at any time.
Each box is £10.99, with your first box being a trial price of £3 and each box has free delivery.
If you are interested in making your own Simply Cook subscription, then head over to the Simply Cook website, to check out more details as well as their big catalogue of dishes to make.

Following the recipes, you combine the kits with 4-6 items from your fridge or cupboard.
Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First from this box I cooked the Sausage & Fennel Pasta. In this kit you get Chilli & Fennel Mix, Smoked Salt & Chive and Garlic Vegetable Stock.

Heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/ Gas Mark 6, and boil 120ml water in the kettle.

Cook the pasta.

Start the sauce.

Add the kale and ricotta.

Finishing touches.

Serve!

While it was easy to cook, I'm not sure if I was a fan of this dish, I just couldn't make my mind up on the flavours, Skye wasn't a fan. I think I would give this dish another try to make sure whether I like it or not.

Next from this box I cooked the Sicilian Roast Chicken. In this kit you get Lemon & Herb Rub, Smoky Mash Mix and Mediterranean Spice Mix.

Heat the oven to 200C/108C Fan/ Gas Mark 6.

Cook the chicken and potatoes.

Fry the onions for the mash.

Prepare the charred lettuce.

Serve!

I really liked this dish, I don't think Skye was a fan, but I really liked the flavours. I didn't think I'd like the onions in the mash, but I thought it added something extra, same with the charred lettuce, I didn't think I'd like it, but I thought it was really nice and soft.

Next from this box I cooked the Soy & Honey Salmon. In this kit you get Soy & Honey, Miso Glaze and Yasai Sauce.

Boil a full kettle of water.

Cook the potatoes.

Meanwhile, prep the salmon.

Glaze the potatoes.

Stir-fry the veg.

Serve!

I loved this dish, Skye isn't a fan of salmon, or in fact fish or any seafood, but I thought this dish was full of flavour and the salmon was really refreshing. All the elements on the plate worked really well together and I'd happily cook this again.

Lastly from this box I cooked the Creamy Honey Mustard Chicken. In this kit you get White Wine Reduction, Supreme Sauce Stock and Herb Mash Mix.

Get a pan of water on to boil for the potatoes and boil 250ml water in the kettle.

Cook the chicken.

Start the sauce.

Return the chicken.

Mash the potatoes.

Serve!

I really liked this dish, it did make me realise though that I need new pans as, dishes like this never look as creamy as in the picture. While it doesn't look it the chicken was really creamy , as was the mash, it was all full of flavour and worked really well with the tenderstem broccoli. As usual, Skye didn't seem to impressed, but I'd happily cook this again.
