It's time to get stuck into January's MISHIBOX.

First up we have a NATURE REPUBLIC REAL NATURE MASK SHEET, this sheet mask is made from a 3-layer cellulose sheet mask, which moisturises your skin for longer. There are different varieties which are: Green Tea which is moisturising, Aloe which is moisturising and calming, Rose which is moisturising and revitalising, Avocado which is nourishing, Cucumber which is moisturising, Bamboo which is clarifying, Royal Jelly which is elasticity, Shea Butter which is nourishing, Acai Berry which is elasticity, Tomato which is brightening, Tea Tree which is for pore care, Orange which is clarifying, Chamomile which is calming and Olive which is nourishing.
How To Use - After cleansing and toning, place sheet mask onto your face for 15-20 minutes. Pat any remaining essence to improve absorption.
I got the Acai Berry sheet mask which is for elasticity. I liked that instead of a watery consistency, the essence was a cream and it smelt gorgeous. The mask was pretty much a perfect size and shape for my face shape. The mask left my skin feeling soft, moisturised and plump, on the downside the mask left a tacky residue, leaving my skin feeling a little oily. This mask would have been perfect for me if it hadn't left my skin feeling oily.
Retail Price: $2/£1.55
Rate 4/5

Next we have a MEDIHEAL PARAFFIN FOOT MASK, this foot mask are booties that you can slip onto your feet in the day or at night, they soften and moisturise dry, cracked skin using a highly concentrated, deeply emollient formula of paraffin and urea.
How To Use - Wash your feet with warm water and towel dry. Secure one mask per foot using the attached tape and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Remove masks and massage any remaining essence into skin.

The foot mask has a menthol smell, which is to be expected with anything to do with feet. The booties were really cold when I first placed my feet in them, however my feet were left feeling soft, moisturised and refreshed. I would happily use this foot mask again when my feet need a pick me up.
Retail Price: $3.50/£2.71
Rate 5/5

Next we have SKINEYE NATURAL SEA BUCKTHORN FRUIT OIL 100, first things first Sea Buckthorn Fruit is a type of berry that contains naturally high amounts of Omega-7 fatty acids, as well as antioxidants and vitamins, such as vitamin E and vitamin C. As an oil, it's naturally moisturising, while the antioxidants and vitamins fight wrinkles, prevent acne and heal scars or tissue damage. The Natural Sea Buckthorn Fruit oil 100 is a 100% oil with no added preservatives or ingredients.
How To Use - Mix 1-2 drops into your moisturiser and apply this mixture to your face and/or neck.
I mixed this oil with my Nivea day cream and it helped it leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth, I only needed to add 1 drop. My skin was left looking brighter and clearer.
Retail Price: $32/£24.74
Rate 5/5

Next we have SKINEYE NATURAL CAMELLIA SERUM, this serum is a lightweight serum that moisturises your skin from the inside out. It's full of beneficial ingredients such as Camellia Flower Water, Sunflower Oil, Argan Kernel Oil, Bergamot Peel Oil and Damask Rose Flower Oil. It moisturises and protects your skin and helps improve elasticity and texture. It's suitable for all skin types and is great for layering with different skincare products.
How To Use - After cleansing and toning, apply an adequate amount onto skin. Use up to twice a day.
This serum has a really nice floral scent and reminds me of products my nannan used to use. The serum has a water like consistency and absorbs quickly into my skin. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth as well as looking refreshed, clearer and brighter. I'd highly recommend this serum to anyone and everyone.
Retail Price: $29/£22.42
Rate 5/5

Lastly we have a THE SAEM SAEMMUL PERFECT MASCARA, this mascara makes your lashes full, long, soft and fluttery, while lasting for hours without smudging. Available in Volume and Curling.
How To Use - Use wand to apply onto lashes. Repeat as needed. Remove using makeup remover.
I seem to have gotten the Volume mascara but the wand seems to be for the Curling mascara as it's curved but overall it does what it's meant to do. It applies easily and covers my lashes really well, it was long lasting and lasted all day till I removed it. I thought it made my eyes look bigger and more open. It's my new favourite mascara.
Retail Price: $5/£3.87
Rate 5/5

Now it's time to get down to the business side of the MISHIBOX, they offer 4 different subscription offers for this box. They offer a monthly recurring subscription which is $19.95/£15.14 a month, a 3-month recurring subscription which is $59.85/£45.41, a 6-month recurring subscription which is $119.70/£90.83, as well as an annually recurring subscription which is $239.40/£181.65, this does not include the shipping fee which for the UK is $5.95. I pay £19.85 a month including shipping for my box and I'm sure you can see from the products you get it's really worth the investment even with the extra charges for the box from my bank it's still a worthwhile subscription. You really get more than your moneys worth from the box, these boxes are extremely popular and sell out really fast so if you interested I would suggest being quick to avoid disappoint. You can even buy 3, 6 and 12 month gift subscription boxes as well as one-time-only boxes for the month they are prepping and taking subscriptions for, prices are the same as above.

If you have liked what you have seen in this post then head to the MISHIBOX website, and possibly sign up for their amazing subscription box, it's even great as a gift for a beauty enthusiast.

I was pretty satisfied with the January MISHIBOX, I rated everything pretty high as all the products worked really well for my skin, I'd happily re buy all 5 of these products, my favourite though has to be the mascara, it's a high quality mascara with a pocket friendly price tag, I wish I could find this in my local supermarket or beauty store. Another 5 stars for the January MISHIBOX and I can't wait for my February box to arrive.

See you soon!

It's time to get stuck into October's MISHIBOX.

First up we have an IT'S SKIN THE FRESH SHEET MASK, this sheet mask comes in 10 different flavours, with three different types of essence textures: light, medium and rich. The flavours are Tea Tree, Bamboo, Aloe and Carrot which have a light essence. Honey, Pomegranate and Rose which have a medium essence, and Blueberry, Avocado and Olive which have a rich essence.
How Tu Use - After cleansing and toning, place sheet mask onto face for 15-20 minutes. Pat any remaining essence to improve absorption.
I got the carrot mask and I thought it smelt nice, I left it for 20 minutes and parts of the mask felt dry to the touch when I removed it. I'd done a charcoal pore peel off mask before and this mask really soothed the red areas where I'd put the charcoal pore peel off mask. My skin was left feeling soft and hydrated. When I removed the mask from it's packet, I was a little nervous that the essence was dripping off it, but thankfully it didn't actually drip while I had it on, which for me is a bonus.
Retail Price: $3/£2.31
Rate 5/5

Next up we have a THE SAEM PERFUMED HAND LIGHT ESSENCE, this hand essence is available in five different scents: Cherry Blossom, Peach Blossom, Lemon Mint, Grapefruit and Apricot. Each of the scents contain 10,000 ppm of the signature ingredient, along with Aloe Vera and Brown Rice Fermentation Filtrate. This light and hydrating formula is said to absorb quickly into the skin.
How To Use - Apply and adequate amount onto clean, dry hands as often as needed.
I got the Apricot hand essence and it smells gorgeous, the essence has the consistency of a watery gel and like it stated, it absorbed quickly into my hands, leaving them feeling soft and moisturised. This is definitely being placed into my back during these cold winter months to keep my hands moisturised, it's now my favourite hand moisturiser.
Retail Price: $4
Rate 5/5

Next we have a LANEIGE WATER BANK MOISTURE CREAM, the MISHIBOX info card states that this is great for cooler weather, as it moisturises your skin all day. It's refreshing yet rich cream goes on smooth and helps fight dullness, uneven skin tones and dryness. Laneige's patented mineral water complex contains Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Zinc and Manganese. It helps maintain ideal moisture levels on your skin, while Olive Squalane moisturises skin. It's formulated without phthalates and parabens, and is dermatologist tested.
How To use - After cleaning and toning, apply an adequate amount onto face and neck. Use twice a day.
I love the texture and consistency of this cream, it smelt really nice and absorbed pretty quickly into my skin. It left my skin feeling soft, smooth, supple and moisturised.
Retail Price: $4
Rate 5/5

Next up we have an ETUDE HOUSE WONDER PORE FRESHNER, this wonder pore freshner is a multi-tasker which helps clean, refresh and moisturise your skin. It's said to effectively remove excess oil, sebum, dirt and debris from your skin, while Mint Extract leaves the skin feeling cool and revitalised. It is formulated without parabens, mineral oil, fragrance, artificial colours, talc and animal-origin ingredients.
How To Used - After cleansing, dry face. Apply an adequate amount onto a cotton pad or ball and gently wipe face.
In our October MISHIBOX we received a 50 ml travel size bottle, which I think is the perfect tester size, even though there was no added fragrances, it still smelt nice with the ingredients that have been used to make this product. My skin felt soft and even better it felt clean, refreshed and soothed. I definitely think I will be buying this once my little bottle runs out.
Retail Price: $5
Rate 5/5

Next up we have the SKIN WATCHERS WRINKLE AWAY WHITENING EYE CREAM, this eye cream is said to be everything an eye cream should be. It soothes fine lines and wrinkles, and brightens dark circles; and with all EWG Green Level ingredients, so there is nothing harmful inside. It contains 58% Yeast Ferment Extract, along with Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Shea Butter and Lavender Oil to keep the sensitive area around your eyes soft and moisturised. The cream is formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phenoxyethanol and BHT.
How To use - At the last step of your nightly skincare routine, dab and adequate amount around your eyes. You can use it around your lips and neck, basically anywhere with fine lines or wrinkles.
I love the smell of lavender in this cream, it absorbed into my skin pretty quick too, which is always a bonus. The skin under my eyes felt really soft and moisturised, and the lavender helped to soothe the skin around my eyes from removing my make-up. I could see a difference straight away after just adding the cream under one eye, it really brightened my skin and hid away the dark circles.
Retail Price: $30/£23.12
Rate 5/5

Finally we have our bonus product as an October and Halloween treat, which is a TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL PUMPKIN SLEEPING PACK, this sleeping pack is great for all skin types, it fights dryness and dullness while you sleep.
How To Use - Apply at night onto clean skin before going to bed and wake up with glowing skin.
This little bonus product is pretty amazing, the packaging was really cute and it smelt really nice. It was a quite thick cream and there was the perfect amount in the packaging to cover my face and to get a full face coverage. It absorbed pretty quickly, meaning my face wasn't left feeling sticky. I woke up with skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised. I'd definitely give this sleeping pack another use, I think it's the perfect once a month overnight skincare product.
Rate 5/5

Another 5 Star MISHIBOX, all amazing skincare products, my favourites from this box definitely have to the hand cream and the pore freshner. The hand cream leaves my hands feeling soft and smelling gorgeous, while the pore freshner left my skin feeling clean and refreshed. I can easily recommend all the products we got in our October box and I can't wait to receive my November box which I know is on it's way.

MISHIBOX: August Unboxing & Review

It's time to get stuck into August's MISHIBOX.

August's spotlight product is a Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask Pack from Freeset.

First up we have our spotlight product FREESET'S DONKEY MILK SKIN GEL MASK PACK, this mask pack is made of natural pulp and bio polymer and is saturated with a thick essence that helps soothe skin, using natural ingredients such as licorice root extract and peppermint extract, donkey milk is great for moisturising the skin. It's highly recommended that this mask should be used whenever skin is irritated, like during break outs, after being at the beach or after exfoliating.
How To Use - After cleansing and toning, remove the mask from the package, peel off the plastic film, and place the sheet mask on your face for 15-20 minutes. Pat any remaining essence onto the face to increase absorption. Use 1-3 times a week, the mask may also be refrigerated before used.
Personally for me, I wasn't a fan of this mask, while the mask smelt really nice, I wasn't a fan of when the mask was removed from the packet that it was dripping from the essence. It continued to drip even while I had it on, meaning I was using a towel to keep dabbing my neck and chest. The mask also left my skin feeling greasy and also looking rather shiny and oily, I'm rather gutted that this mask wasn't for me as I don't think I've ever been gutted with a spotlight product.
Retail Price: $3
Rate 3/5

Next we have a SKIN FACTORY EYE DREAM HONEY PATCH, this patch contains adenosine to help prevent wrinkles, honey extract to nourish skin and witch hazel to moisturise and soothe skin.
How To Use - After cleansing and toning, remove the eye patch from the packaging. Peel off the protective film on both sides of the patch, and place onto the skin below the eyes. After 20-40 minutes, remove patches and pat any remaining essence onto the skin to increase absorption. Use once a day.
While I couldn't see any physical difference, the skin under my eyes did feel moisturised, softer and nourished. The patches were easy to apply and did smell really nice, I kept the patches on for the full 40 minutes and didn't feel like I had any adverse reaction for doing so.
Retail Price: $3/£2.32
Rate 4/5

Next we have a THE SAEM HEALING TEA GARDEN GREEN TEA CLEANSING TISSUE, these cleansing tissues contain organic green tea extract to help keep the oil/moisture balance on your skin and keep it from drying out after cleansing.
How To Use - Remove one wipe from the packet and use to gently remove makeup and sebum/debris from your face. Reseal package to prevent wipes from drying out.
I love the packaging for these wipes, it's really pretty, the wipes themselves smelt really nice. Even though it took 2 of the wipes to remove my makeup, I think they did a really good job of removing my makeup, my skin was left feeling and looking fresh and clean. We received the mini size of these wipes so they are ideal to put in you bag, making cleansing on the go really quick and easy.
Retail Price: $4/£3.10
Rate 5/5

Next we have a REVECEN NEO PIGMENT POWDER, this powder can be applied to the eyelids as a shimmery eyeshadow and even on the cheekbones as a highlighter, it can even be added to lip gloss to apply it to the lips. There are 7 different varieties: Cinema Gold, Aurora Pink, Pure White, Dorothy Orange, Vivid Yellow, Jazz Brown and Vanilla Beige.
How To Use - Apply directly onto skin using the applicator, or mix with other products for added colour.
I got the Pure White powder, and at the moment I've not tried it yet, I'm quite nervous when it comes to trying new makeup products, especially when it's something I don't tend to use when I do wear makeup.
Retail Price: $14/£10.85
Rate N/A

Lastly we have SOROCI MILD LOTION, this is a no-frill, fast absorbing face moisturiser designed for sensitive skin. It contains their signature ingredient gamma-oryzanol an antioxidant found in rice bran, along with sunflower seed oil, grape seed oil and ceramides to moisturise skin without irritation. It also contains licorice root extract that has anti-inflammatory properties to soothe skin, and tocopherol and lecithin which helps with skin elasticity.
How To Use - After cleansing and toning, apply an adequate amount onto face. Use up to twice a day.
I was so excited when I saw this product as back in January we received a toner/repair skin softener, that is from the same range as this lotion, so my expectations were high as I loved the toner that I got in my January box. My expectations were not disappointed as yet again the lotion smelt really nice, the lotion absorbed really quickly into my skin and left it feeling soft, smooth and moisturised, I love that the packaging is so simple but really pretty. I love how the lotion pumps out of the bottle meaning as you get closer to the end of the bottle there won't be any left within the bottle to waste.
Retail Price: $26/£20.15
Rate 5/5

Now it's time to get down to the business side of the MISHIBOX, it seems that they no longer off different subscription offers as the only one available now on the website is the monthly recurring subscription which is $19.95/£16.33 a month, this does not include the shipping fee which for the UK is $5.95. I pay £20 a month including shipping for my box and I'm sure you can see from the products you get it's really worth the investment even with the extra charges for the box from my bank it's still a worthwhile subscription. You really get more than your moneys worth from the box, these boxes are extremely popular and sell out really fast so if you interested I would suggest being quick to avoid disappoint.

If you have liked what you have seen in this post then head to the MISHIBOX website, and possibly sign up for their amazing subscription box, it's even great as a gift for a beauty enthusiast.

I really loved the August box, I'm gutted that I wasn't a fan of the spotlight product, but face masks can really be a hit or miss for anyone depending on their own personal preferences. Like with every MISHIBOX, I'm looking forward to my next box.

See you soon!
