There wasn't many debut's that stood out for me in 2024 especially for groups, as you can see above that it was mainly the solo debuts that really stood out for me. With that said I did enjoy a lot of the debuts but I want to share with you the main 10 that really stood out for me.

Here are the 10 debuts that stole the show for me in 2024.

Hui
Google Images
I loved Hui's solo debut, his album was one of my honourable mentions in my Top 20 K-pop Albums post. Hui really has a unique voice, he really excels and stands out with any song.
MELO

Jinho
Google Images
Jinho's solo debut was amazing, there is a good mixture of songs on his mini album. I want to hear him do more rock sounding songs as they really suit his voice. His B-side Over gave me FTISLAND vibes and I can really see him being a frontman for a rock band.
Over

Yuqi
Google Images
I don't know if I can really count Yuqi as she's released solo songs before but she finally got to release a mini album in 2024, and this is why I've included her. Because her solo album was too good to be ignored. I love every track on her album. I desperately want to get my hands on a physical copy.
Drink It Up

Yoon San-Ha
Google Images
His solo debut mini album was stunning. San-Ha has always one of my favourite voices in Astro, I can't help but feel like Losing My Mind is about Moonbin because as soon as I heard this song it made me think about him and made me feel emotional. Even if you're not an Astro fan, I highly recommend this album it really showcases his voice.
Losing My Mind

Yeonjun
Google Images
While it got some hate, I absolutely loves Yeonjun's solo debut single. It's really catchy and it's one of them songs that just gets stuck in your head. i really enjoyed seeing another side to him away from TXT.
GGUM
Owned by Big Hit

Yuta
Google Images
Yuta's solo debut was definitely one of my favourites. His album was amazing and definitely my favourite of all the NCT members solo debuts. If you checked out my top 20 K-pop albums post, then you know that his album came in first place.
Save You

Tzuyu
Google Images
Tzuyu's solo debut has to be my favourite out of the Twice members so far. Her album is cute and catchy and really suits her. They didn't try to force her into any songs that were above her ability and it really shows she's a good vocalist. I really love her voice.
Fly

Ten
Google Images
Like with Yuqi, Ten has had solo songs before but 2024 saw him release his first mini album. Each track on the album was really catchy and really showcase Ten's voice. Like with Yuta, if you're not an NCT fan, I still highly recommend giving Ten's album a listen.
Moonwalker
Owned by SM Entertainment

TWS
Google Images
I absolutely loved TWS' debut mini album. Each track was really catchy and could have easily been a title track. Each release of theirs so far have been really catchy and sounding really fresh and new.
Oh Mymy: 7S
Zaty Farhani

Sphaze
Google Images
With how much I love and enjoy PLAVE and their music, when I cam across Sphaze, I decided to give them a listen. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked their debut single album. Sphaze are 2nd male lead webtoon characters, I'm interested in checking out each of the webtoon's they're in as well as what music they will release next.
Starlight
Owned by Oort Ent.

There were many other debuts that I enjoyed and loved including Cha Eunwoo, NCT Wish, Jeonghan X Wonwoo and NOWADAYS.
So there was my favourite debuts of 2024, I look forward to seeing what debuts we get in 2025, whether it's group or solo.

Who were some of your favourite debuts in 2024?

See you soon!

Track List:
Feelin Like'
한탕 (One Shot)
The Game
Call My Name
관람차 (Sparkling Night)
Bad

I have the Nouveau version and I love how it's all packaged, it gives off a luxury and high end vibe, it's definitely one of my favourite in the way it's packaged.
The photo book was one of the main reasons I wanted to get my hands on this version first, I love it, it's like a high end fashion magazine, it's really simplicity at it's best.
The album itself is amazing, this album from start to finish is a masterpiece, if Girls' Generation hadn't made their comeback last year, then this album would have been my No.1 album of 2022. Seeing the songs live too made it even more of a masterpiece for me, I definitely look forward to their next album.

I only need to look at the Feelin' Like title and I automatically get the melody in my head, this is definitely one of my favourite title tracks from PENTAGON. For me this is one of those songs that never fails to get me singing and dancing along.
Feelin' Like

Are you ready? I love how 한탕 (One Shot) starts because it sounds like it's going to be a completely different song, then the beat kicks in. I love how well their voices sit within the melody, it blends together perfectly.
한탕 (One Shot)

I can't put into words how truly perfect and mesmerising The Game is, if PENTAGON want me to play, I willingly volunteer and accept. From the operatic start, this song takes you on a ride that you never want to get off. I think vocally this was the song that really blew me away, this song made me think move over Hui, Jinho is here.
The Game

I have a love/hate relationship with Call My Name, it's my favourite track on the album, but it taunts me because it's always stuck in my head. Last year at the MIK Festival, I got to see them perform it live and even with 18 songs after it, walking back to our hotel, all I kept singing was Call My Name. You may also recognise parts of the song and that's because PENTAGON sampled Blackstreet's No Diggity. I really recommend this track, you won't be disappointed.
Call My Name

I love how bright and upbeat 관람차 (Sparkling Night) sounds, I love the melody, the song itself sounds so magical and mystical. The vocals and raps just add that extra spark to it.
관람차 (Sparkling Night)

The melody at the start of Bad is stunning and I love the vocals and the raps, they fit so perfectly together, I don't think I ever stop being in awe of their rapping and vocal skills.
Bad

It's now been a year since PENTAGON released this album and I still can't get over how amazing it is, it's still one of my go to albums, and if you're not familiar with PENTAGON, I suggest you give this album a try.
I definitely thank my friend Mary for continuing to push their music and content on me, because otherwise, I would have missed out on a masterpiece.
I hope we don't have to wait much longer for a new album, but I guess you can't rush talent and perfection.

Were you a fan of IN:VITE U?
Do you have a physical copy?
