Today's song was used in my countdown 8 years ago, and it's only the second time it's appeared in my countdown. It's a classic song that has stood the test of time and is played every year.
It's a song that everyone knows and as soon as you hear it, you know it's Christmas.
Today's another new song appearing on my countdown, it's a song I always forget actually exists because you don't hear as much here in the UK. It comes from a boyband that I used to listen to growing up and I'm sure it will make many my age feel nostalgic hearing these voices.

Today's song is *NSYNC's 'Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays'.
Today's song is one of my favourites, but did you know it was never intended to be released as a Christmas song, but because of the bell it was classed as such, and is one of the songs that is not only played every year, but is also classed as one of the classic Christmas songs.
I absolutely love this song, I'm a sucker when it comes to the classics, I don't know why but whenever I listen to it, I feel like it's snowing outside, with fresh snow sitting in my garden, while I sit nice and cosy in my pyjamas, relaxing with a hot chocolate.
It just makes me feel like it really is Christmas.

Today's song is Nat King Cole with "The Christmas Song".
December 3rd: I think today's song is a song that everyone expects to hear at Christmas and lets face it is it really Christmas if you don't hear this track? It's not Christmas till 2 things, 1 you see the Christmas Coca Cola advert and 2 this song starts playing. Today's song is Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You.
For today's Christmas Countdown I thought I'd pick a song that I grew up listening to every year. One album I used to love listening to was a Christmas album by The Andrews Sisters that belonged to my Nan nan, it wasn't till last year when I found it on CD on Amazon that I was able to listen to it and enjoy it again. I normally prefer the older style of Christmas songs, as they make me feel more festive and really bring out my Christmas spirit.
I've decided that as I don't have an advent calendar this year I would do something different and each day share a Christmas song with you all, these songs were vary from English to Korean and possibly Chinese and because we're already onto December 3rd I'm going to start with the tracks I picked for the 1st to today's track, hope you like them and they get you into the spirit of Christmas.

I chose this song for the 1st simply for fact that to me it sounds like a song to start the Christmas season off with.

One of my fondest memories growing up was listening to a cassette tape my nan gave me with all the songs sung by The Andrews Sisters, I can finally relive those moments as I now have the album on CD.

Normally for me the Christmas songs that tend to make me feel all festive and Christmassy tend to be the classic Christmas songs but today the Sone within me bowed to the sub-unit of my favourite South Korean girl group Girls Generation-TTS. The song for today's advent window if you will is a BRAND NEW song and video released TODAY for TTS' comeback and this song for me is up there with the classics as the saying goes this one hit the nail on the head.
'Santa he won't let me, Santa he won't let me, Santa he won't let me down~'
