December 2nd: When I think of Christmas songs it's always the old classics that make me feel all festive and excited for all the preparations for the big day, it's very rare that I fall in love with modern Christmas songs as thy often don't sound like actual Christmas songs and that's what I love about the classics. Today's song is Nat King Cole's The Christmas Song, all together now "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire"
I thought I'd slow it down for today's countdown and use a song that people wouldn't necessarily hear and think Christmas. I really like this song and I once saw a comment asking why EXO always seem to release depressing ballads at Christmas when Christmas isn't a sad event, I enjoy that they release sad ballads because it reminds me that not everyone has someone at Christmas and not everyone has an upbeat and cheerful Christmas.
Today's track is from EXO'S 2013 Winter Album and is called Miracles in December, this track was released in both Korean and Chinese and while the M/V featured all the members the track was only sung by 4 members: Baekhyun, D.O & Chen for the Korean version and Chen, Luhan and Baekhyun for the Chinese version, the 4 members promoted the song together.
I've decided that as I don't have an advent calendar this year I would do something different and each day share a Christmas song with you all, these songs were vary from English to Korean and possibly Chinese and because we're already onto December 3rd I'm going to start with the tracks I picked for the 1st to today's track, hope you like them and they get you into the spirit of Christmas.

Normally for me the Christmas songs that tend to make me feel all festive and Christmassy tend to be the classic Christmas songs but today the Sone within me bowed to the sub-unit of my favourite South Korean girl group Girls Generation-TTS. The song for today's advent window if you will is a BRAND NEW song and video released TODAY for TTS' comeback and this song for me is up there with the classics as the saying goes this one hit the nail on the head.
