Today's song has been used on this day for the past 7 years. If you've been following this countdown for the past 7 years then you'll know what today means.
Today marks 7 years since Jonghyun's passing and there are still certain songs and performances that I can't watch. It may sound silly too but it really doesn't feel like it's been this long.
School OZ Hologram Musical OST is set out in a hardback book style case and comes with the Cd and photo book.

I remember this musical being advertised and I wish I'd have been able to head off to South Korea to see it live, but I also hoped it took off so that it could head over to the UK, but I'm just glad they released an OST for it.
I love that the OST is mainly other SM artists songs as it was nice to hear them sung at times by the opposite sex.
I absolutely love One Day One Chance - Original Ver. This is one of my favourite songs from this OST, I've been in love with it since it's release. I love the melody and Changmin's vocals are stunning. Also the whole cast harmonising towards the end is perfect. I still think even 9 years later this song still sounds fresh and new.
One Fine Day is a song that showcases each of the cast. It's a song that catches you off guard as it starts out as a ballad and speeds up at the chorus which I love.
As a SONE, I absolutely loved 소원을 말해봐 (Genie). They all fit this song perfectly, it's definitely another of my favourite tracks that I listen to a lot from this OST. I never felt that the male voices shouldn't be there and I loved that they kept the original lyrics even for the guys.
I feel I'll keep repeating myself with a lot of these songs but as SHAWOL, I was already familiar with Intro - Destination. I love the build-up to the track and it still sounds so good sung by the cast.
While I'm not as a familiar with BoA's song's I knew 아틀란티스 소녀 (Atlantis Princess) was one of hers. I feel that this track was perfect for Seulgi. It really allowed her to shine, especially as a rookie idol. At the time Red Velvet had only released digital singles, so I think it was perfect to bring Seulgi into this musical.
I wasn't as familiar with f(x)'s b-sides, but I knew Pretty Girl. I love the change up to the track and I love how Luna and Seulgi compliment each other on this track.
I love the Mr. Simple/I Got A Boy mashup, that also had the appearance of both Leeteuk from Super Junior and Yoona from Girls' Generation. The mashup works so well together.
Originally sung by Girls' Generation sub-unit TTS, I love hearing Twinkle being sung by the opposite sex. It shows that it works well sung in a lower key. This song suits both Key and Changmin perfectly.
I love listening to One Day One Chance - Original Soundtrack Ver. As is includes the original audio from the musical too. I actually can't listen to the Original version without hearing this version along with it.
I think One Day One Chance (Reprise) really establishes how good the melody for this track is. I love that they each seem to get a line to sing before harmonising again. You can tell this was the closer for the main musical.
I think all SM/SM Town fans know 빛 (Hope) as it's a song that's used a lot to end SM Town concerts, where all the artists come on to perform together. I love this song, I personally think it's a song that lives up to it's name.
Concluding the album we have 으르렁 (Growl)/주문 (Mirotic), which at the time of the OST's release were probably 2 of the most iconic songs from SM. I have to say I love how they all harmonise singing these songs. They all fit the songs together perfectly.
I love how it's not a typical soundtrack of just the songs, and includes dialogue from the actual musical. And I have say that credit needs to be given to Jo Eun as even though she wasn't promoted alongside the rest of the cast, she does sing on the OST and she sounds amazing.
It's odd to think that this musical is nearly 10 years old, I think if something was done like this now it would blow up and hit new heights.

Today's song has been used for today for the past 6 years. Today marks 6 years since Jonghyun's passing. Every time it comes back around, I can't believe it's been another year.
While it's a day that's full of sad memories, I want it to become a day that we celebrate his life rather than his passing.

Track List:
Criminal
일식 (Black Rose) Feat. Kid Milli
Strangers
해몽 (Waiting For)
Famous (Korean Ver.)
Clockwork
Just Me and You
네모 (Nemo)
2 Kids
I have the Criminal version and the album's layout is pretty simple, I love the design on the Cd plate.
The photo book fits really well with the concept, it gives me a dark and eerie feeling.
The album itself suits Taemin's style perfectly, each track is different and shows off different sides and genre's throughout.
Criminal is one of my favourite title tracks from Taemin, this is a song I never get bored of listening to. I love everything about it, especially the melody. Taemin's vocals are just the icing on the cake. This is the type of Taemin that I love.
일식 (Black Rose) Feat. Kid Milli is definitely one of my favourite b-side's on this album, the contrast between Taemin's vocals and Kid Milli's rap makes this track vocally perfect. The melody gives it an eerie feeling with some of it sounding like a lullaby from a music box, it's definitely a track I would love to see performed live as it really plays with the senses.
For me Strangers is on another level, I love the tempo of the track, I especially love the melody, it suits Taemin's vocal tone perfectly. His voice in this track is on another level. I could see this track being a part of the soundtrack for either a thriller or supernatural drama.
The melody for 해몽 (Waiting For) reminds me of another song but I can't put my finger on why because no song comes to mind. It also makes me think of something like the tango, it kind of gives me a slight exotic vibe. For me this track seems a little more chilled out than the track before it.
I'm sure everyone was excited to get Famous (Korean Ver.), while I love this track, for me it's not one of my favourites. It still gets my foot tapping though.
I think Taemin has such a beautiful vocal tone when it comes to ballads like Clockwork, his voice is stunning against the melody of this track. You don't have to understand Korean to enjoy the beauty of this song.
I love the way Taemin's voice blends with the melody of Just Me and You, it's such a catchy melody and I always find myself humming along to this track.
네모 (Nemo) kind of gives me SHINee vibes, something which I don't think I've ever had when it comes to their solo stuff. For me I think this track is an easy listening style of song, something you can just sit back and relax.
2 Kids is one of my favourite tracks from this album, as well as one of my favourite Taemin b-side's and knowing that Taemin had a hand in writing the lyrics for it, makes it that even more special. His voice is perfection in this track,
This album is such a good album and as always Taemin put his all into it, I think with each album he shows that he isn't scared to try new things and sees his music as art and a way to help and influence his listeners, he likes to go past the boundaries of what it deemed normal for men and women and show that you can do anything as long as you put your mind to it.
He really is an underrated vocalist, and he never lets that sway him.
Taemin has now been discharged and has completed his military service, which can only mean one thing which I'm insanely excited about SHINee is back. I can't wait to see what they bring us now they're all back and I also can't wait to see what boundaries Taemin pushes on his next solo release.
