Well we definitely had a very different Christmas last year, and I'm sure none of us at the start of 2020 envisioned that there would be rules and bans in place as Christmas day approached, while it may have been different this year, I definitely tried to make it special for myself and Skye, we put the tree up earlier than normal, I restarted my musical Christmas Countdown on my blog, and myself and Skye watched 1 Christmas film a day in the run up to the big day.

The year flew by so fast and a majority of it many of us spent stuck at home, which for me makes this years Christmas Gift Haul all the more special and thankful.

Today's post will be short and sweet, as I share with you my gifts from 2020.

Starting off with my presents from my lovely friend Nichola, her other have David and their kiddies Grace & Olivia.
They got me some awesome Beanies coffee goodies, the mug is really big and I love it, I never finish off my coffee but that's just normal for me. When Nichola asked me what Beanies Coffee flavours I liked, all I could say was the Coconut Delight but I've never found it in stores.
She surprised me with 6 flavours that really do represent me, I'd been wanting to try the Birthday Cake coffee for so long, so I was so happy to see it as one of the 6, Gingerbread and Pumpkin Spice are my go to drinks in the autumn and winter months.
So far I've only opened the Birthday Cake, Pumpkin Spice and White Chocolate & Raspberry jars, and they're all gorgeous, especially the Pumpkin Spice so far.

Next up from my dad and his wife, both me and Skye got a hamper to share between us with also some goodies for us alone.
Above is what I chose for myself for the duplicate gifts, as well as a gift voucher for us to us and McFly's new album, that i hadn't actually gotten round to buying myself, so it was a nice surprise.

From my very talented friend Clare, I got a candle and some personalised slippers that she's personalised herself for me.
The slippers are so comfortable and cosy I absolutely love them, and the candle smells absolutely gorgeous.

From my sister and her husband, I got a bottle of strawberry gin and a big box of Maltesers.
I've not tried the gin yet, but the Maltesers didn't last very long till I'd eaten them all. This is the biggest box I've ever seen Maltesers come in.

Lastly as a gift for myself I pre-ordered Enhypen's debut mini album Border: Day One.
I will be posting about this album soon, so I will reveal all the goodies from the album through that post.

I also got money from my mum and her partner, but I'm still to spend it and I'm thinking I'll treat myself to a trip to HMV to see if there is any K-pop that I'm wanting in store.

Well that's the end of my Christmas haul for 2020, I love all of my gifts, I'm always grateful that my friends and family take the time to pick out gifts for me that they know I will love and enjoy.

Did you get some amazing presents from your friends & family?

See you soon!

My Christmas Gift Haul of 2018!

Hello

I'm always grateful to my family and friends for the thought and care they put into getting me gifts, whether it be for Christmas or my birthday, I enjoy posting these kinds of posts as it allows people a more personal look into the things that I like and enjoy.

First we have the gifts I received from my friend Vikki, who I've been working with for the past 10 years. She got me a little wall canvas of me and Skye from a few years back with us wearing our matching onesies, a Harry Potter wall calendar, that's now up on the wall with all my work shifts and a Minnie Mouse collectible 50 pence piece, which I think is just the cutest. I'm hoping this year that I start decorating the rooms in the house so I can make it seem more like mine and Skye's home, so as of yet I don't know where I will be placing the little canvas.

Next from my work friend Bev, another that I have worked with for the past 10 years, I got a cute kawaii mug that says "rain rain go away", that I have used quite a few times and a Korean lemon hand cream. I couldn't help laughing at the instructions as they were either translated incorrectly or the info for the wrong product was attached as it instructs us to apply this hand cream to our faces.

From my brother Christopher and his family, I got Star Wars goodies which is a storm trooper mug, which I have yet to take out of it's packaging and use and some awesome Star Wars shot glasses which has a storm trooper, Darth Vader, R2D2 and C3PO, these are another that are not yet out of it's packaging, but will be once I have a gathering for food and drinks.

From my friend's Becky, Dave and their little boy James I got this cute tea for one set and cute little milk jug. I love this owl teapot that separates into teapot and mug, it comes in handy when I'm blogging and requiring a hot refreshment, it easily hold at least 2 cups of tea. I also love the milk jug, I've always wanted stuff like this as it means I can have my own little afternoon tea party, while I'm busy blogging or reading. It's the perfect gift got me.

Next from my friends Kate, Sam and their little lady Alexandra, I got some really comfy and fluffy Harry Potter slipper socks, that are definitely getting plenty of use, they are perfect for the cold winter nights. I also got this cute Minnie Mouse waist apron, which I adore. I've always wanted a vintage style waist apron, I absolutely love them, at the moment I've only used it once, when I was making the new years day dinner, but I know it will be getting lots of use when I'm baking.

From my friends Liv and Dan I got 3 pastel coloured unicorn canisters, that are now placed on a wooden serving tray and already in use for coffee, tea and sugar. I also got from the same collection a cute pastel coloured cloud tea bag rest, which I have placed with my unicorn canisters.

Next from my friend Nichola and her family, I got some awesome goodies, one of which I forgot to add to this little group picture and didn't take me long to demolish. I got a jar of bubblegum fizzy bottles, which Nichola knows I'm always on the hunt for and gutted when the pick n mix is out of them. I also got some Soap & glory beauty products, lip balms that contain 3 different scents of Pina Colada, Gin & Tonic and Prosecco. I also got a Hufflepuff bath bomb, which has been used and it smelt really nice and left my skin feeling moisturised, finally she also got me a BTS book which is an ARMY Handbook, as she knows I love BTS and I'm an ARMY.

From my friend Clare and her little girl Scarlett, me and our friend Nichola got a joint gift of us to be able to go for an afternoon tea, which I can't wait to get it booked in and feel like more of a grown up.

From my sister and her husband Bob, I got this cute little makeup set as well as a little chocolate Santa. Santa is in the fridge ready for one I'm having craving foe either chocolate or something sweet. I've already used the highlighter that's with the makeup set as I love the colour of it. The colours in the eye shadow palette are really pretty colours.

Lastly from my dad and his partner I got some Harry Potter pyjamas and some Harry Potter slippers. Soon as it got dark on Christmas day and I'd got the kitchen all cleaned up from all the pots and left over food, I was straight into these. The pyjamas are so fluffy and comfortable that they're perfect for the winter months. The slippers are really comfortable, I wear them all the time.

From my mum and her partner I got £50, which I used to treat both myself and Skye.

Well that's the end of my Christmas gift haul for 2018, there are some presents that are not included in the pictures as I got them after creating the post, like from my friend Mary-Kate at work I got some Korean sheet masks, which I can't wait to use. Looking at last year's Christmas Haul, I said that I would do shopping hauls as I would be buying home ware stuff, but I think as well as doing that this year, I will do a before and after post when I've decorated each room to show how I've changed them to look more like mine and Skye's.
