Today's song takes me back to my childhood, being at my nannan's and listening to this album on cassette tape. When I say I love the older Christmas songs, this is what I mean.
Today's song is The Andrews Sisters' 'The Christmas Tree Angel'.
Today's song normally makes it's appearance on Christmas eve but this year, I'm mixing it up and it's appearing a day earlier.
I remember when I was younger, I wouldn't go to sleep until this song had played. This song also appears on one of my favourite Christmas albums, an album that will forever bring back many memories that I cherish with my Nannan Connie.

Today's song is The Andrews Sisters with Bing Crosby singing 'Santa Claus is Comin' To Town'.
Today's song hasn't appeared again on my countdown since 2015 when I first started doing this musical advent calendar, but it's definitely not that last time these singers appeared. I love this song, the singers and the album it's from.

Today's song is The Andrews Sisters' 'Merry Christmas Polka'.
Today's song is definitely one of my favourites, it brings back so many childhood memories for me, especially with my nannan Connie. This song comes from one of my favourite Christmas albums, I listen to it every year and have pretty much done so since I was little.

Today's song is The Andrews Sisters' '12 Days of Christmas' with Bing Crosby.
December 14th: I'm back with another Andrews Sisters song, this song like 12 Days of Christmas comes off my favourite Christmas album, which is an album that brings me back so many memories from my childhood. Today's song is The Andrews Sisters' Winter Wonderland.
December 13th: Today I have to say that this song is one of my all time favourite Christmas songs and it comes from my all time favourite Christmas album from the Andrews Sisters. It's one of those songs that I think everyone would know and loves to sing along to. Today's song is the Andrews Sisters' 12 Days of Christmas.
I was pretty busy yesterday that I never got round to doing December 23rd's post but guess what it's now CHRISTMAS EVE!! Today's song is a song that along with 12 Day of Christmas is my favourite Christmas song. Every Christmas Eve night when I was growing up I'd play this while trying to fall to sleep, which to this day I still have trouble with.
Happy Christmas Eve everyone, I hope Santa brings you lots of amazing gifts and have an amazing time with your friends and families.
Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Today's track has to be my favourite Christmas song, I've really liked this song since I was a little girl and it brings back happy memories listening to this song with my nannan. I think everyone should get to grow up hearing and knowing 12 days of Christmas.
Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters - 12 Days of Christmas
It's time for another song from my favourite Christmas album from the Andrews Sisters and this one is with Bing Crosby. You can't deny that the best Christmas songs are the oldies, all the old classics get me into the festive mood and I for one play them when I'm wrapping presents and doing my Christmas baking.
Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters - Here Comes Santa Claus
For today's Christmas Countdown I thought I'd pick a song that I grew up listening to every year. One album I used to love listening to was a Christmas album by The Andrews Sisters that belonged to my Nan nan, it wasn't till last year when I found it on CD on Amazon that I was able to listen to it and enjoy it again. I normally prefer the older style of Christmas songs, as they make me feel more festive and really bring out my Christmas spirit.
So we're into the final days of my very own Christmas day countdown advent calendar, not only are we getting closer to Christmas but we're also getting closer to a brand new year.
I'm going to take you back now to one of the tapes I used to listen to growing up and one of the many songs I loved on the album (I love each and every track really).
'Sleigh bells ring are you listening, in the lane snow is glistening, a beautiful sight we're happy tonight, walking in a winter wonderland'
Can you believe it we've hit the half way mark, in just 12 days I'll be relaxing with my parents, Skye and Andrew watching movies and drinking hot chocolate that Santa dropped off for us, and then it's time to set out all the baked goods and milk for him to treat himself for his good hard-work.
As it's the 12th I thought this song would fit in perfectly for today, this has to be one of my favourite Christmas songs and I haven't found any version better than this one so press play, turn the volume up, sing a long and enjoy.
'On the 1st day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a partridge in a pear tree'
Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters - 12 Days of Christmas
I've decided that as I don't have an advent calendar this year I would do something different and each day share a Christmas song with you all, these songs were vary from English to Korean and possibly Chinese and because we're already onto December 3rd I'm going to start with the tracks I picked for the 1st to today's track, hope you like them and they get you into the spirit of Christmas.
December 1st
I chose this song for the 1st simply for fact that to me it sounds like a song to start the Christmas season off with.
'Christmas is finally here'

December 2nd
One of my fondest memories growing up was listening to a cassette tape my nan gave me with all the songs sung by The Andrews Sisters, I can finally relive those moments as I now have the album on CD.

Normally for me the Christmas songs that tend to make me feel all festive and Christmassy tend to be the classic Christmas songs but today the Sone within me bowed to the sub-unit of my favourite South Korean girl group Girls Generation-TTS. The song for today's advent window if you will is a BRAND NEW song and video released TODAY for TTS' comeback and this song for me is up there with the classics as the saying goes this one hit the nail on the head.
'Santa he won't let me, Santa he won't let me, Santa he won't let me down~'
