After taking a week off to get back on track and back onto my posting game and I'm returning with VIXX, back in December (2018) I introduced you to VIXX' debut single album and this time I'm returning with their 2nd single and 2nd single album Rock Ur Body.
On the 5th of August 2012, the Rock Ur Body - Teaser 01 - was released.

On the 8th of August 2012, the Rock Ur Body - Teaser 02 - was released.

On the 14th of August 2012, the Rock Ur Body M/V was released along with the physical and digital of their 2nd single album of the same name.

Ravi co-wrote on the track 아픈데 좋아 (UUUUU).
Rock Ur Body peaked at No.8 on the Gaon Albums Chart.

The M/V for Rock Ur Body has gained 4,515,736 million views through their official YouTube channel while through YouTube channel Stone Music Entertainment the M/V has gained 2,358,241 million views, giving the Rock Ur Body M/V a total of 6,873,977 million views, with the views continuing to increase.
The album is set out in a tall rectangular jewel Cd case and comes with the Cd, photo book and Cd sized and shaped random photo card.
The photo book is bright and colourful and follows the Rock Ur Body's game concept.

I've been a starlight 3 years now and just going back to where VIXX started shows how far they've come with their creativity, even though I wasn't around for their debut when I listen to this album I feel like I've been a starlight since debut. I remember when I first got into VIXX it was through Voodoo Doll so the VIXX I was mainly used to was the darker concepts, but I'm glad they had a few cute and colourful concepts as it shows there's more to VIXX than what people were expecting. I love that there are retro gaming sounds added into the opening of Rock Ur Body, I think for a rookie group at the time it was a memorable opening for a song. It's such a bright and upbeat song that I think whether you're familiar with VIXX or not it will get you up and dancing and having a fun time. I love that even though there are only 2 songs on the album, they are 2 very different songs, I think 아픈데 좋아 (UUUUU) is the perfect "cool down" song before you hit that play button again. I think if I got to see them sing this song live, I'd swoon at their voices.

Sadly I think right now the VIXX members will focus on their solo activities as leader N enlisted at the start of March for his mandatory military service and Leo is also due to start his military service, I hoping we will see the remaining members form a new sub-unit but it will also be nice to see the members branch out and focus on individual careers too, especially Hyuk and Hongbin. I think Ken will be mainly singing and in musicals, Ravi will continue with his solo releases, Hongbin will focus more on his acting with a few songs thrown and and I think Hyuk will get his hands stuck into all aspects of the entertainment world. Once VIXX return as 6 they will be better and stronger than ever, ready to show and prove that their absence as a whole was non existent.
I hope N keeps himself healthy and safe and returns happier than ever.
