A bizarre twist of fate throws impoverished tearaway milk delivery girl Chu Xia together with an unlikely prince charming - ruthless know-it-all business heir Han Qi Lu, known to his schoolmates as master devil.
Tragedy strikes and Chu Xia finds herself orphaned and homeless. At the dying request of Chu Xia's mother, the Han family agrees to take her in until she reaches university age, much to Han Qi Lu's dismay.
But things soon get worse for him when his family insists Chu Xia must attend the same exclusive private school Han Qi Lu currently lords over. Not everyone at the school is enamoured with their new quirky class mate - least of all the master devil himself.
But Chu Xia's street-smarts help her find her way out of countless scrapes, winning her a few friends along the way!
Will Han Qi Lu and his school friends scare off Chu Xia, or will she win everyone over with her own unique charms? And will the bitter adversity between Chu Xia and master devil turn into something altogether...sweeter?

I really enjoyed season 1 of Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me, even if I thought it was the predictable enemies starting to feel differently about one another. I did have to re-watch the first season as both seasons blended into one for me and couldn't remember how and where it ended before heading into season 2, I'm glad I was able to binge watch it once both seasons were completed as it meant as soon as we saw the season 1 cliffhanger, I could get straight into season 2.
I think the whole cast were good together and all pulled off their characters well.
I loved Xing Fei as An Chu Xia, I became a fan of hers because of this drama series, she's your typical from rags to riches character, after her mother passes away she gets a 2nd chance at changing her life, even if Han Qi Lu wants to make her life at his home and school a misery, something that Chu Xia doesn't let get her down and always strives to be the best she can be. She's the type of person that wants to help her friends become a better version of themselves and helps them to do it and prove others they're wrong about them.
Also from this drama I became a fan of Li Hong Yi, Han Qi Lu is your typical know-it-all rich boy and business heir that thinks because he has power and money, means he can do and say whatever he wants. The more we get to know him, we get to see a softer side to him as well as past heartbreak that made him change the way he acted round people, meaning he raised a wall that as we go through the first season, he starts to lower for Chu Xia.
I loved Qie Lu Tong as Meng Xiao Nan, she added some comedy to the series and has a weakness when it comes to good looking guys. She cares deeply for her friend Chu Xia, and even moves schools to attend the same school as her so she's not alone. She doesn't seem to have much luck with the guys she falls for as they all only have eyes for Chu Xia, and she always has Chu Xia's back.
I think the addition of Jason Fu as Jiang Chen Chuan towards the end of season 1 was to give us a mysterious bad boy that we all can't help but love and adore. I always thought Chen Chuan and Xiao Nan were cute together, so I was gutted when nothing really happened between them.
I feel sorry for Zhang Jiong Min as Ling Han Yu as this is the 2nd drama series I have seen him be friend zoned, the other being I Hear You. He's always there when Chu Xia needs help or a friend, and even though he has feelings for her, he backs off trying to woo her, once he knows his friend Qi Lu has softened towards her and has started having feelings for her.
Sun An Ke as Mo Xin Wei is your typical rich bitch, she thinks because she has money, she is higher up the food chain and will do anything to make sure she gets who and what she wants, including Qi Lu.
Sunday Li as Wan Zi is Xin Wei's friend and disciple, she doesn't seem to have any morals or thoughts of her own and will do anything Xin Wei wants, she does add some comedy to the series, she also seems to be in her own world at times.
Li Cen Yi as Feng Shao is Chu Xia's friend and always has her back and vice versa, to me it seems she sees him as her brother, but he has a crush on her and seems to have feelings for her which he notices a change in her when she starts spending more time round Qi Lu.

I really enjoy watching this drama and even the 2nd time round I can't help binge watching the series. The series can be questionable at times but I cried, got mad and laughed, it's definitely a drama that makes you want to get straight into the next episode.

I Hear You is a Chinese television drama series, it aired on Youku, airing for 24 episodes on Monday's. The series aired from the 28th of January and concluding on the 11th of February 2019. The series is adapted from a web novel and is also known as The Most Enchanting Thing and The Most Beautiful Thing. Streaming service Netflix bought rights to the series from Youku to add it to their streaming service.

Main Cast:
Riley Wang as Ye Shu Wei

Bei Er Duo, a girl from an ordinary family, dreams about studying in Japan to be a professional voice actress. However, her mother wants her to marry rich while she is young, leading to continuous blind dates which irritate Er Duo. In her desperation to raise funds for studying overseas as well as helping her best friend Tang Li out of a crisis, Er Duo joins a couple reality program, encountering top violin maker Ye Shu Wei.
Ye Shu Wei is from a family of artists and has a low-key, mysterious, and genius character in both the composing and violin industry. He was forced to join the reality program having lost a bet to his nephew Yu Sheng. In fact, the actual reason that attracted Shu Wei to participate in the show is not his bet with Yu Sheng. Instead he seeks to identify the person who correctly answered his audition question.
Because the reality show is faced with the crisis of integrity, Er Duo and Shu Wei start a lively and funny cohabitation life, and spontaneously fall into the fate of a wonderful romance together.

For me this is your typical cold and hard faced male lead is softened and changed by the female lead, but what I mainly liked about this drama especially with the characters is that even though Shu Wei softens, he only softens for Er Duo, while keeping his hard demeanour for everything and everyone else within his life. While I really enjoyed the drama and the cast, I couldn't help feeling that the final episode was rushed and left me feeling pretty underwhelmed and incomplete, I wished there was one more episode after that one that showed a few years later etc and showed their dreams finally being complete and how they were progressing together as well as separately, that for me would have been closure for the series and characters.
I thought Riley Wang did an amazing job of playing a character that's distant, cold-hearted and hard-faced, from his social media, I get that his personality is the total opposite. I'm definitely intrigued to check out more of his drama's to how is acting differs from each character. One of the things I really fell in love with was Riley's smile, I think it really helps you to soften to Shu Wei and I think it helps show that he does have a softer side especially when it comes to Er Duo. If I have to say I had a favourite part of the drama for me, it was definitely the cosplay party and Riley dressed as Sebastian Michaelis, Black Butler is one of my favourite anime and manga series' and I absolutely love Sebastian and Ciel, I even have their figures on display in my living room.
If I had to say I had a favourite cast member from the series, I'd have to say that it was Zhao Lu Si as Bei Er Duo, I definitely want to check out more of her drama's and have another of her dramas on my VIKI list to watch. For me she brought and independence and an innocence to the role. Like with Riley my favourite scene has to be the cosplay party as Er Duo is dressed as Ciel Phantomhive.
I think this is the first time I've watched a drama where it looks like two of the characters will end up together and they actually don't, I was getting the impression that our male support would see the error of his ways, realise he's in love with our female support and they'd live happily ever after but I got it completely wrong.
Zhang Jiong Min's character is definitely the best friend and boy next door role and is also your typical in love with his friend but has been friend zoned character. I think he brought some of the comedic value to the series and I adored seeing him in the maid cafe with the cat ears on.
I absolutely loved Yuan Hao and Gratitude Dai, I think they really bounced off one another, you could tell they really cared for one another and I spent most of the drama feeling heartbroken for Tang Li, she was the cause of most of my quick wipe of the eyes, never did I think that by the end that was more aimed towards Yu Sheng.

I really enjoyed watching I Hear You, it's definitely helped in my quest to check out more Chinese dramas, I have recently checked out another drama that Zhang Jiong Min is a supporting role and came across another actor I enjoy watching as well as finding out Zhao Lu Si also has a drama with him so I can't wait to check it out. I've also noticed that Since watching Well-Intended Love more and more members of SpeXial are popping up in dramas that are suggested for me.
