Cook restaurant quality meals!
Each box comes with 4 recipe kits and 4 step-by-step recipe cards.
Following the recipes, you combine the kits with 4-6 items from your fridge or cupboard.
Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First from this box I cooked the Chilli Glazed Sausages. In this kit you get Paprika Colcannon Mix, Bacon Chilli Glaze and Smoky Date Sauce.

Heat your oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas Mark 6.

Get prepped.
Boil your potatoes and cook your sausages.

Meanwhile, fry the cabbage.

Glaze the sausages.

Finishing touches.
Mix the Smoky Date Sauce with 2tsp of water to loosen.

Serve!

Plain mash with just butter and milk is definitely for me, I wasn't really fussed with it mixed with the cabbage or the spring onions. I couldn't really decide whether I liked the chilli glazed sausages, but I know Skye wasn't a fan of either the mash or the sausages, so I don't think this will be one of the dishes we have again.

Next from this box I cooked the Lamb Kofta Flatbreads. In this kit you get Kofta Seasoning, Pomegranate Molasses and Cacik Paste.

Heat your oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas Mark 6.

Season and shape the mince.

Fry the Koftas.
Drizzle with the Pomegranate Molasses.

Prepare the breads and sides.

Serve!

I thought this was really nice, I thought thought the flavourings were really nice and I especially loved the dip. Skye on the other hand wasn't a fan, she found them to be too spicy for her.

Normally there would be another 2 dishes that I would share with you but I didn't take any pictures, I must have thought I'd already done that as I have done those 2 dishes a few times now, I do have one of the dishes coming in another box so I will be able to share it in a later post and I will be doing the same with the other dish too.

Now let me get to the business side of the Simply Cook boxes, each box comes with 4 recipe kits which include 3 pots of sauces, herb, stock etc, as well as 4 step-by-step recipe cards, that contain the full list of ingredients you'll need, and alternatives etc.
You can choose which dishes you would like in your box, or you can leave it to the Simply Cook gang and let them randomly pick your dishes to enjoy. You can set your preferences whether you're wanting something mild to spicy, something family friendly, there's recipes from all around the world.
You can choose how often you would like your boxes, whether that would be weekly, fortnightly, or even every 4 weeks. You can also change, pause or even cancel your subscription at any time.
Each box is £9.99, with your first box being a trial price of £3 and each box has free delivery.

Pink Apple Slaw

Hello

Here in the UK we've been getting quite a few heatwave's and I think this Pink Apple Slaw is perfect to go with salads during the summer heat.
This recipe comes from the Pinch of Nom Everyday Light recipe book and you can find it in the Snacks, Sides & Sweet Treats chapter.

Let's get making!

Ingredients:
2 tbsp cider vinegar
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tbsp water
1/2 tsp granulated sweetener
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1 pink lady apple, skin left on
1/2 red cabbage, finely shredded
5 spring onions, trimmed and sliced
sea salt & freshly ground pepper

Start off by mixing your cider vinegar, lemon juice, water, sweetener and rosemary together in a large bowl.

Then coarsely grate or cut the apple into thin strips, I grated the apple.
Then toss it immediately into the bowl, this will prevent the apple from turning brown.

Lastly add the cabbage and spring onions, and then season with salt and pepper.
Mix well and serve.

As you can guess this is really easy, simple and quick to make and I loved the flavour.
This side would pretty much go with anything, whether you were having a jacket potato, a salad or even a fully cooked meal like chicken.
I found it really refreshing, with a little sweetness and a delicious little crunch to it.

If you're interested in any of Pinch of Nom's recipe's then you can buy the recipe books in all major supermarkets as well as online retailers Waterstones and Amazon.

See you soon!
