You may think I'm odd posting this album in June with it having a Christmas concept, but it's too cute to keep until December.
I have the photobook version and I absolutely love the layout and photo's. I love the styling, it works even against the festive backdrops and colours. It's definitely one of my favourite photobooks an concepts from NCT Dream.
I love the the photobooks pages are glossy as it gives off a high-end magazine fell.
The album itself is really good and has a good mix of songs.
I love Candy, it's such a fun and upbeat song and while I'd heard snippets of the original by H.O.T but I'd never actually listened to it as a whole. On first listen, I wasn't really a fan, but I think that's because the concept used was Christmas, so I was expecting a more Christmas sounding track. I fell in love with this song so much more after seeing it live.
I absolutely love Graduation, I love the melody, the vocals, the raps. From start to finish for me it's an emotional song. They played this song before starting their concert and the wave of emotions I felt from it, I actually got a little tearful as it played. It takes me right back to the concert waiting for them to come on stage.
I absolutely love Tangerine Love (Favorite). I love the melody it's really upbeat and song itself is really catchy. I love the vocals in this track, for me it's their vocals against the melody that make it really catchy.
I love how the melody changes between the verses an chorus' for 입김 (Take My Breath). With the name of the track you'd think it would be a ballad but it surprises you in that it's more upbeat than you were expecting.
The intro for 문 (Moon) is breathtaking, it really sets up the emotions from the start. It's a stunning ballad, even the members that aren't part of the vocal line really stand out and show off their singing skills. It really shows how talented they are as a group and how well they work and harmonize together.
Whenever I listen to 발자국 (Walk With You), it takes me right back into that moment I was watching them perform this song live. It's a song that often get stuck in my head too.
This album is a fun and colourful album that really shows off that NCT Dream vibe. While the album itself was promoted as a special winter album it doesn't give off a winter vibe, for me it's an album you can listen to all year round.
I always look forward to their comebacks and I can't wait to see them perform live again at the end of the month with the rest of SMTOWN.
