MISHISBOX: March Unboxing & Review

Well a little later than I was wanting to get this post done, shall we get stuck into the goodies in the March MISHIBOX.

 First up we have a DR. SMIS HYALU AQUA MASK PACK, this mask pack is made with ultra-thin transparent mask sheet that adheres to your skin like no other to deliver moisture effectively. It's main ingredients are Hyaluronic Acid and EGF, which helps increase moisture and improve skin elasticity. With the addition of Niacinamide helps brighten your skin tone. It also has a slightly low pH, which is ideal for balancing skin.

How To Use - After cleansing and toning, place the sheet mask onto your face for 15-20 minutes. Pat any remaining essence to improve absorption.

I thought this mask pack smelt okay and was easy to apply. It was cooling on my skin and I liked that essence was more of a creamy texture rather than a liquid essence. It left my skin feeling moisturised, even though after removing my skin did feel slightly tacky and a little greasy, making me want to go wash my face.

Next up we have a GRAYMELIN EGGPLANT BUBBLE PAD, this is said to be a super-convenient one-step cleansing pad. When exposed to air, it bubbles up for effective cleansing and it's said that only one pad is required to effectively remove makeup and to cleanse your skin. AHA, BHA and PHA help to gently exfoliate your skin, and Eggplant Fruit Extract helps to brighten and moisturise skin.

How To Use - Remove pad from pouch. Use a gentle, circular motion to cleanse your skin. Use the pink side for stronger exfoliation. Rinse with water and pat dry.

I thought this cleansing pad smelt really nice and really easy and simple to use. I was blown away by how quick and easy this pad removed my makeup. I always enjoy being a little skeptical about what the info card says about the products to be blown away by the actual results. It was effective straight away and didn't leave my eyes or lash line feeling sore or sensitive, it also left my skin feeling soft and really clean. I'd happily buy more of these and use them to regularly remove my makeup.

Next up we have an RE,DNA GALACTOMYCES AMPULE, this ampule contains 97% Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate that has numerous benefits; it promotes skin elasticity, brightens skin, minimises the appearance of pores, moisturises skin and smooths skin.

How To Use - After cleansing and toning, apply an adequate amount onto skin. Use up to twice a day.

To give this product a proper test I used 1 dropper, twice a day. There isn't really a scent to which makes you think that there really isn't any added ingredients which could be harmful to your skin. The consistency is just like your applying water to your face, it left my skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised as well as looking healthier.

Next up we have a MILKY DRESS OASIS PEELING GEL, this gel gently removes dead skin cells to visibly improve skin complexion. The info card states that your skin will feel so much smoother after just a single use. It contains Sodium Hyaluronate so it doesn't dry out your skin, it also contains Lemon Extract and Grapefruit Extract which helps with brightening dull skin.

How To Use - After cleansing, pat skin dry. Apply an adequate amount onto your face, avoiding your eyes and lips, and gently massage for 1-2 minutes. Rinse with warm water, then follow up with your normal skincare routine. Use up to twice a week.

I thought that this gel smelt really nice, I like that you can feel and see the dead skin cells coming away as it means you can see and feel it actually working. It starts working as soon as you start massaging it into your skin. My skin was left feeling soft and smooth as well as feeling like I had given my skin a deep clean. I now use this on a regular basis and seen a big improvement in my skin.

Lastly we have a GRAYMELIN DAY BY DAY CREAM, there are 4 different creams available, with all 4 targeting different skin concerns: moisture, dullness, elasticity and redness. If you do have the full set then you can vary your skincare routine depending on your skins condition that day. You can also target specific areas with the different creams. (1) The Moist Icecream contains Beta Glucan, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract and Sodium Hyaluronate to mositurise dry skin. (2) The V5 Multi Vita Cream contains Niacinamide and Vitamins A, C and E to brighten dull skin. (3) The Collagen Repair Cream contains Adenosine and Hydrolyzed Collagen to improve skin elasticity. Finally (4) the Cica Solution Cream uses Tea Tree Extract, Chamomile Extract and Centella Asiatica Extract to calm red and irritated skin.

How To Use - After cleansing and toning, apply an adequate amount onto affected areas. Use up to twice a day.

I got the (3) Collagen Repair Cream, which I think was the best one for me to receive with me getting older, I need to start taking more care of my skin. I think it smells really nice and it left my skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised. I use this as my regular moisturiser and would happily recommend.

Now it's time to get down to the business side of the MISHIBOX, they offer 4 different subscription offers for this box. They offer a monthly recurring subscription which is $19.95/£15.14 a month, a 3-month recurring subscription which is $59.85/£45.41, a 6-month recurring subscription which is $119.70/£90.83, as well as an annually recurring subscription which is $239.40/£181.65, this does not include the shipping fee which for the UK is $5.95. I pay £19.85 a month including shipping for my box and I'm sure you can see from the products you get it's really worth the investment even with the extra charges for the box from my bank it's still a worthwhile subscription. You really get more than your moneys worth from the box, these boxes are extremely popular and sell out really fast so if you interested I would suggest being quick to avoid disappoint. You can even buy 3, 6 and 12 month gift subscription boxes as well as one-time-only boxes for the month they are prepping and taking subscriptions for, prices are the same as above.

I was really happy with March's MISHIBOX, even if it did take me a while to actually get this post written. I would have to say my favourite products were the Oasis Peeling Gel, the Eggplant Bubble Pad and the Day By Day cream, those three products really blew me away and left me wanting to use and purchase again in the future. One thing I've noticed about these products too is that two of the products were created by Graymelin, it just shows how much they take skincare seriously. I now have my April MISHIBOX and can't wait to get stuck into it and get trying out the products within.

MISHIBOX: June Unboxing & Review

It's time for my review of the June MISHIBOX.

We didn't have a spotlight product for June, instead we got a voucher to use to celebrate their 2nd birthday, they also told us about their new MISHIBOX which is called MISHIMASK which is basically a box of Korean face masks.

 First up we have a ESFOLIO THE ESSENCE MASK SHEET, this mask is available in 5 different masks, 3 of which were selected for 1 to be sent at random, each one has it's own benefits. Volcanic Ash removes sebum and impurities to refine pores, Egg helps improve skin elasticity and hydration and Red Ginseng revitalises skin for a youthful appearance.

How To Use - After cleanser and toner, place mask on face for 15-20 minutes. Pat the remaining essence to increase absorption. Use 1-3 times a week.

I got the egg mask and I really liked this mask, it was easy to apply and fit my face shape really well, it smelt really nice too. There wasn't a lot of excess essence for me to pat away and the mask left my skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised.

Next we have a HALF MOON EYES PINK FRUITY WASH-OFF MASK PACK, this mask pack contains Dragon fruit extract in the form of capsules to help gently exfoliate, remove dirt, sebum and reduce the appearance of pores.

How To Use - after cleanser and toner, apply a thick layer onto face, avoiding eyes and lips. Let dry for 10 minutes, and wash off with warm water. Finish with your routine moisturiser and/or cream.

 We received this mask February last year (2016) and looking at my review for it then, I didn't have a good experience with using it but this time it's all positive. It was easy to apply and was pretty easy and quick to rinse off, it smelt really nice and has such a pretty colour to it, my skin was left feeling smooth and looking a lot brighter and fresh, this time I had no reaction from using it, which is a bonus. Even the packaging is a step up from when we last received this mask pack.

 Next we have a THANK YOU FARMER BACK TO ICELAND CLEANSING WATER, this cleansing water effectively removes make-up, sebum and impurities from the skin, meaning no need for double cleansing. It contains Iceland moss extract which helps protect and nourish your skin, and witch hazel which helps refine pores.

How To Use - Apply adequate amount onto cotton pad. Use cotton pad to gently wipe off make-up. For eye and lip make-up, set cotton pad onto affected area for 3-5 seconds before wiping off. Then use the opposite side of cotton pad to remove any remaining residue.

We received the mini version of this product and I think I will invest in the larger bottle as I really like this cleansing water, I personally think it's miles better than the Garnier Cleansing Water that I use. I tend to double cleanse, I used a powder cleanser to start removing my make-up and then my Garnier Cleansing Water for any remaining make-up. Even when using just the Garnier Cleansing Water I can use between 6-10 cotton pads to make sure it's all removed, but with the Back To Iceland Cleansing Water my make-up was removed in less than 5 minutes and only took 3 cotton pads, it definitely gives a deep cleanse to you skin to remove impurities. It smelt absolutely gorgeous and to me it smelt like Lavender, and my skin was left feeling soft and smooth.

Next we have PROUD MARY A.C. CURE SPOT SOLUTION, this product contains various botanical extracts - Centella, Witch Hazel, Aloe, Rosemary and Chamomile to help soothe irritated skin and decrease the size of pimples/spots. It also creates a thin barrier to protects your skin from external stress.

How To Use - After cleansing and toning, apply a small amount to the affected areas.

 This product is amazing, to me the smell reminded me a little of sunscreen and it absorbed quickly into the skin, leaving the affected area feeling soft. When checking out the affected area a day later I noticed that my spot had reduced quite a lot and later it was completely gone, normally when I notice a few spots I will use an exfoliate but that wasn't really needed. I highly recommend this for anyone that suffers from pimples/spots.

 Lastly we have a CHAMOS BLUEBERRY CONTROL NUTRY CREAM, there are 4 of these creams available, all with different key ingredients and benefits. The Blueberry Control Nutry Cream hydrates and nourishes skin, the Pomegranate Anti-Wrinkle Cream uses antioxidants naturally found in pomegranates to increase elasticity, the Lemon Ultra Whitening Cream contains flavanoids and AHA to decrease pigmentation and brighten skin and the Apple Intensive Nutry Cream contains naturally occurring vitamins and amino acids to smooth skin and provide long-lasting hydration.

how To Use - After cleansing and toning, spread desired amount evenly onto face and neck.

I have to say this is my favourite product from the June MISHIBOX, it smells absolutely gorgeous, if I didn't know it was face cream I would have thought it was edible it smelt that good. The cream absorbed really quickly and it had a watery consistency when it was being applied, it left my skin feeling soft and smooth as well as leaving it feeling nourished and moisturised.

MISHIBOX: February Unboxing & Review

I'm still loving the new style info card and I love that each month we have a product that's in the spotlight, February's spotlight is on Sam & Sean's The Broccoli Essence.

Now lets get stuck in!

 First up we have NO:HJ BANANAMAN SSUL MASK PACK, the info card says this pack, packs a serious punch of moisture. The varieties available for us to receive in the February box were Honey, Green Tea, Bamboo, Snail, Cucumber, Lemon and Pomegranate.

How To Use - After cleanser and toner, place on face for 15-20 minutes. Pat the remaining essence to increase absorption. Use 1-3 times weekly.

 I was rather surprised when I opened the mask and saw that it was black, it's the first time I've seen a face mask be that colour. I thought the mask smelt really nice and it seemed easier to apply than other masks that I've used before, I think it was because the mask itself felt a thicker material. I got the Honey mask and I loved how smooth and moisturised my skin felt after, I was patting my skin for a while though after removing the mask as there was still a lot of remaining essence left on my skin.

 Next we have an ESFOLIO HAND AND NAIL VITAL MASK, this mask moisturises and deep conditions hands chapped by the harsh winter weather. It also helps with cuticle health, it's basically a sheet mask for hands!

How To Use - Place glove over each clean hand. Let the essence soak into your hands for 20 minutes. Remove gloves and pat any remaining essence onto hands to increase absorption.

 I really liked this hand mask as it left my hands feeling soft, smooth and brighter. I used it before painting my nails as a treat to myself, plus why treat your hands if you're not going to pain your nails as a finishing touch. I really love the packaging for this product as it had my favourite animal on it; a panda. I really recommend this mask especially through the winter months when your hands can really suffer from the cold weather.

 Next we have the spotlight product, SAM & SEAN THE BROCCOLI ESSENCE. Here's more info on this item, Sam & Sean is a brand created by 2 best friends since middle school, Sam & Sean. Sam's background in chemistry and Sean's work as a photographer/artist allowed them to create a fun skincare line called Haters & Lovers. This product The Broccoli Essence is part of the Lovers & Haters line, which focuses on brightening the skin. It contains powerful antioxidants such as Vitamin C and beta carotene which is found in broccoli to fight pigmentation and aging.

How To Use - After cleansing, spread a dime-sized amount evenly onto face and neck. Follow up with your favourite moisturiser and/or cream.

I love the overall design for this product and I'm not surprised that it's the spotlight product of this box, the box and bottle looks fresh and elegant and I love that it has a little squeezer so you can control how much of the essence you use. It smells gorgeous and my face and neck were left feeling smooth and slightly brighter. I will be continuing to use this product in my daily skincare routine and highly recommend this to anyone that wants to give it a try, I really think and believe it's worth the price tag.

Next we have an A'PIEU NON-LATEX BLENDING PUFF, this puff is perfect for all your blending needs! You can use with concealers, BB Creams and foundation for the perfect coverage.

How To Use - For a matte look, use a dry puff to blend product onto face. For a glowing look, soak puff in water and squeeze out excess, then blend product onto face. Puff can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap. Do not twist the puff as this can rip it.

This is the first time I've had a blending puff before and I've still not built up the courage to try using it yet, I'm too scared of not doing it correctly and having a line round my face of my foundation and knowing my luck, I'll end up ripping it, I do think it's a pretty colour though.

Lastly we have the HOLIKA HOLIKA PIG-NOSE CLEAR BLACKHEAD STEAM STARTER, this product contains Moroccan ghassoul clay to crab impurities, dirt and sebum from your pores for skin free of blackheads.

How To Use - After cleansing, apply product onto nose and other problem areas. Gently massage with your fingers for 3 minutes. Rinse with warm water and follow up with your routine skincare. Use 1-3 times a week.

 I was expecting this to be like the black masks that you peel off that I've been seeing around on social media a lot lately, but was surprised that it was like a gel. I found it amusing that while massaging it into my nose it began melting from the warmth and ended up running down my face which i wasn't aware that this had happened till it was on my lips and I liked it. I think to see proper results from this product you need to use it 3 times a week especially when first starting to use it as to me I still had visable blackheads. The info card does state that you can only use it once for it to be effective, but it didn't seem that way to me.

February's box lived to it's expectations and even though I gave the Pig-Nose Clear Blackhead Steam Starter a 3/5 rating I am going to continue to use it and see if it does eventually after a few more uses does what it says it does. I'm excited to know what our March box spotlight product will be and also what range of products we will be getting in our next box.
