Each box comes with 4 recipe kits and 4 step-by-step recipe cards.
Following the recipes, you combine the kits with 4-6 items from your fridge or cupboard.
Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First from this box I cooked the Indochinese Hakka NoodlesIn this kit you get Indochinese Spice Rub, Indochinese Paste and Hakka Sauce.

We've had this dish a few times and we always enjoy it. The recipe is really easy to follow and the flavours all work well together.

Next from this box I cooked the Masala Lamb ChopsIn this kit you get the Masala Paste, Spice Blend and Mint Chutney.

We've had this dish quite a lot, it's one of our favourites. I love all the flavours, they all work together really well. The salad is really fresh against the lamb and potatoes.

Next from this box I cooked the Crispy Pancetta Gnocchi. In this kit you get Roasted Garlic Blend, Gnocchi Herb Blend and Lemon & Black Pepper Sprinkle.

Skye isn't really fussed about this dish, but I love it. All the flavours really work well together, but I'd love it to be a bit creamier for my tastes. It's really easy an quick to cook so perfect for after a long day.

Last from the box I cooked the Soy & Honey SalmonIn this kit you get Soy & Honey, Miso Glaze and Yasai Sauce.

I've said before that Skye doesn't like fish, so she has chicken with this dish. The potatoes are really nice and full of flavour, and the salmon just flakes apart as soon as I out the fork in. I enjoy both cooking this dish as well as eating it.

Now let me get to the business side of the Simply Cook boxes, each box comes with 4 recipe kits which include 3 pots of sauces, herb, stock etc, as well as 4 step-by-step recipe cards, that contain the full list of ingredients you'll need, and alternatives etc.

Each box comes with 4 recipe kits and 4 step-by-step recipe cards.
Following the recipes, you combine the kits with 4-6 items from your fridge or cupboard.
Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First from this box I cooked the Ancho Glazed Salmon. In this kit you get Spicy Rice Paste, Ancho Chilli Glaze and Salsa Seasoning.

Heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/ Gas Mark 6.

Get the rice on.

Prepare the salmon.

While the rice and salmon are cooking, make the salsa.

Serve!

While I had salmon, I swapped Skye's out for chicken, as she isn't a fan of fish.
The salmon flaked apart perfectly and tasted really nice. The rice was nice too, along with the salsa. The avocado and mango worked together really well.
I'd happily cook this again.

Next from this box I cooked the Penne Alla Rustica. In this kit you get Garlic & rosemary Mix, Rustica Paste and Red Pepper seasoning.

Since the first time cooking this, this has become one of our regular picks. All the flavours work really well together.

Next from this box I cooked the Crispy Pancetta Gnocchi. In this kit you get Roasted Garlic Blend, Gnocchi Herb Blend and Lemon & Black Pepper Sprinkle.
This is another dish we have quite regularly, the flavours are amazing and all work together really well.

Lastly from this box I cooked the Masala Lamb Chops. In this kit you get Masala Paste, Spice Blend and Mint Chutney.

Another dish that we have quite a lot, this is often requested by Skye, which I'm always happy to oblige and add it to the box, because it all tastes so good. Both of our plates are always left clean when we have this.

Now let me get to the business side of the Simply Cook boxes, each box comes with 4 recipe kits which include 3 pots of sauces, herb, stock etc, as well as 4 step-by-step recipe cards, that contain the full list of ingredients you'll need, and alternatives etc.

First cooked from this box we have the Crispy Pancetta Gnocchi. In this kit you get Roasted Garlic Blend, Gnocchi Herb Blend and Lemon & Black Pepper Sprinkle.

Boil a full kettle of water.

Cook the gnocchi.

Fry the pancetta.

Make the sauce.

Serve!

This was really nice, I loved all the flavours, the pancetta with the gnocchi was perfect, I'd love to try and make it a little crispier next time.
I'm not sure if Skye was a fan but, we'll be giving it another try sometime soon.

Next from this box I cooked the Mie Goreng. In this kit you get Mie Goreng Paste, Ketjap Manis and Chilli Glaze Sauce.

Boil a full kettle of water.

Cook the noodles.

Start the stir-fry.

Finishing touches.

Serve!

I did the optional extra of cooked chicken because Skye doesn't like prawns, seafood or fish in general, so wanted to make sure she was able to have something she would like with it.
I liked this dish, I thought it was full of flavour and everything worked really well together.

Next cooked from this box we have the West African Peanut Stew. In this kit you get Mali Style Spice Blend, Tomato Paste and Cocoa Spice Paste.

Fry the Okra.

Cook the chicken in the spices.

Add the tomatoes and peanut butter.

Serve!

Instead of the rice that's in the recipe, I decided to make mash potatoes with having it on a Sunday, and I couldn't get my hands on Okra which I want to try, especially for this dish. I also swapped the peanut butter for some almond butter as Skye didn't like it with the peanut butter the first time I cooked this.
I personally preferred it with both the mash and almond butter, the creamy mash worked really well with the sauce from this dish. I loved the flavoured and the chicken was perfectly cooked.
I will definitely give this a go again.

Lastly from this box I cooked the Chipotle Grilled Steak Salad. In this kit you get Lemon & Herb Blend, Ancho Steak Rub & Chipotle Paste.
