I thought I'd do something different this time for a fashion post, it's been a while since I did a fashion post so I thought I'd better get a new one out there. Asian fashion always seems to be ahead of the rest of the world and sometimes they get it wrong and sometimes they get it extremely right, this outfit I'm going to be sharing with you is something I put on and then realised I was wearing something similar to what I'd seen someone wear the previous day while watching something on YouTube, shall we get down to it.

Both pictures are courtesy of Google Images

Jackson Wang is the Chinese member of the South Korean male group GOT7, I'm sure you'll have seen my previous posts floating about, about the group, well a couple of months ago after getting ready to go celebrate a friends birthday, I looked in the mirror and shook my head as I realised he had inspired the outfit that I was wearing. If you're an IGOT7 then you may recognise this outfit from an episode of Real GOT7, more specifically Season 3, episode 9: Horror, Just Right! Shall we get down to it?

Let's see how I recreated Jackson's look.

First up we have a off shoulder red striped top.

I went for black leggings instead of black jeans, I find them a tad more comfortable to move in.

Where Jackson wore sneaker style shoes, I went for ankle boots for a more girly look.

I kept my make-up to a minimal too, trying to keep it all natural looking.

Come and get it: GOT7

Jackson can often also be seen wearing a hoodie or jacket and is pretty much always seen wearing a snapback.

Leggings: Primark
Mickey Jacket: Primark

I'm hoping to try other K-pop celebrity fashion styles, I do have another outfit that I've worn that is inspired by K-pop so I'll share it with you in a future post.

See you soon!

Asian Fashion: Short-Sleeve Frilled-Trim Chiffon Dress & Bow-Accent Heel Sandals

Hello
An nyoung
Konnichiwa
Ni hao

Welcome back for another Fashion post, this dress and these shoes were both purchased from my favourite online Asian Fashion store Yesstyle, first up on this post is a dress that is very similar to the last Asian Fashion post but this one if you've noticed is short-sleeved and a different colour.

This dress is from a Japanese brand called JK2 and when I originally bought it about a month a go it was available in two different colours Dark Blue and Purple (sadly the dress is no longer available) and looking at their other items they stock items from everyday to evening gowns they have a lot of selection for what occasion you may be looking for.

Like my other dress this one also has a decorative row of buttons and pintucks on the bodice, with a frilled collar and frilled sleeves with a pretty tie-back. It looks stunning in both the colours but I decided on the Dark Blue as I thought the Purple may have been too bright for my skin, plus I wanted to stay within my colour comfort zone knowing that the dark blue would suit me.

Like my previous dress the Chiffon fabric is gorgeous with it skimming over my figure showing off my curves in the right places, it's definitely going to be joining my everyday favourites. I think many insecurities some women have is that a dress or skirt doesn't show off their figures in the right way making them fall back on their comfortable clothes like jeans, and many ladies feel like they're not feminine or girly enough to pull of pretty and colourful outfits. I know I never used to feel girly and confident enough to wear the things I do now.

Like all orders I make with Yesstyle I was scared and nervous that I would have got the size wrong and the dress would be too tight but it fits just right, it thankfully hides all my lumps and bumps with it also emphasising on my smaller assets.

The dress is pretty easy to get into with a zip down the side hidden away from view with it matching the materials colour, the not so easy part is the top button it fastens with a small piece of elastic which doesn't bother me it's just sometimes difficult to get the elastic at the right angle to fit both the button and fingertips through, strangely enough it always seems a lot easier to unfasten then it is to fasten. This dress makes me feel grown up and sophisticated, it's a dress that I would wear for meeting up with the girls, going for sophisticated cocktails and you could even wear it for job interviews. I've worn this dress with both flats and heels and they both complimented the dress really well.

The first time I wore this dress it was for my friends birthday meal in which we went to an Indian Restaurant and the second time I wore it was for another one of my friends baby shower which I thought it was very elegant for the occasion plus she's having a boy so I thought there was no better and no other colour I could and should wear.

Now my next item are my first Yesstyle shoe purchase and not my last, the moment I saw these shoes on the site I fell in love and felt the desire and need to have them in my life, I was petrified that these beauties weren't going to fit me right as I've never bought Asian footwear. They are available in four different main colours: Pink, White, Yellow and Blue, all four colours look stunning but I was drawn the to the pink one, the blue bows just goes perfectly with the pink. They are from a Chinese brand called Shoes Galore (I'm assuming they are Chinese as they are the sizes you choose from).

I really struggled on deciding on a size as i was worried that they would either be too tight or too big but I was surprised when they were just right, depending on which foot I looked at. Like all new shoes they did feel tight but I think that was because of the material as it seems really sturdy. They even came with sole inserts for added comfort for my feet.

They looked and felt amazing on and I definitely felt girly in them, I've also noticed as I've got older the higher the heel the less comfortable they are but these are a perfect heel height and are easy and comfortable to walk around in, my only problem is as I walk my toes slip over the front of the shoe but not too much that it's noticeable.

I can't recommend these shoes enough and even if you don't wish to buy from them yet it pays to have a look around the site at all the shoes as they at lot of amazing choices, it took me over a year to finally buy a pair and just recently bought my second pair. Check out my Shopping in Leeds! post to see them.

Check out more pictures from my selfie shoot below.

I was going to post about a different dress today but to be honest I was in a lazy mood and couldn't bring myself to apply my make up, and with me cooking didn't want to make my dress smell of cooking, plus the weather is miserable, so right now I'm sat with a make-up free face, jeans and my 'I'm not a princess, I'm a khaleesi' top. I started the day feeling self conscious but doing this post has brightened my mood, I'm sure I'm not the only one that has their bad days.
See you soon!

Asian Fashion: Layered Collar Mesh Trim Dress

Hello
an nyoung
Konnichiwa
Ni hao

Time for another Asian Fashion post, I will at some point do clothes that are available in stores in the UK that I tend to wear often but for the time being these tend to be the outfits I wear the most. Sadly this dress is no longer available on the Yesstyle website either that or it's just not available anywhere anymore as it won't even allow me to see the dress on their site anymore. This was the first dress I ordered from Yesstyle it was also part of my first ever order from the site too.

This dress is from a Chinese brand called Ringnor, looking at the site it seems Yesstyle no longer stocks items from this brand, which is a shame as I liked a lot of the items they had to offer. After trying to find pictures of the dress that I could use for this post I came across another site that had the dress available,  Style-Asia.

Style-Asia Description:
A layered mesh collar and cuffs are a quirky take on the contrast trim trend. Iridescent decorative buttons adorn the neckline and cuffs, standing out against the luxe dark knit. Team with tights and high heel boots to show off the flattering shape this dress creates.

The dress is gorgeous and has definitely seen it's fair share of outings although I think it may have shrunk from washing as I don't remember it being as short as it is now. I first wore it for Skye's birthday party and teamed it up with some cat tights.

Most of my skirts and dresses if rather short I team them up with so sort of animal tights, as strange and odd as it sounds it makes me feel more Asian (as in my fashion style), I had a proud moment a few months ago when a Asian girl checked out my outfit and tights, I just love their fashion.

As much as I love this dress it's not as flattering on me anymore, a sign I need to get my ass back in gear. It has a few pulls here and there now and the buttons on the cuffs of the sleeves are now both missing (they came off after a few washes). The mesh collar and cuffs really stand out on the dress making it look really pretty and feminine, with the buttons adding that bit more of colour, even though the dress is Gray it still stands out.

You can pretty much wear it for any occasion, I've worn it to parties, nights out, cocktail nights and shopping trips and goes with flats, heeled boots and strappy heels. I would love some heeled brogues as I think they would go really well with the dress and also ankle high boots, I would possibly style it with a bowler style hat, another item I want to go with a few other outfits, my only problem is I'm not really a hat person so finding one to suit me may be hard.

Even though it's a bit tighter on me now it still shows off my curves with it going in at the waist, depending on the time of day and if I've eaten it hides my tummy really well, plus makes me look bustier which probably helps hiding my tummy. It's definitely a dress that you have to do your hair and make up after putting it on as there isn't any zips or buttons to unfasten the dress so goes on over your head.

I couldn't resist sharing pictures of the views from where I took my pictures, it maybe scary at night being in the middle of nowhere when we are at Andrew's but you can't deny that the views are gorgeous, I love spending time there.

I'm hoping I can buy this dress again some time in the future as for me this was my best buy from Yesstyle and will be sad when it comes to the end of it's wardrobe life but sadly all things must come to an end right? Well clothing styles anyway.
Do you have any clothing that gets more wear then any of your other items? Drop a comment below and let me know.
See you soon!
