Cook restaurant quality meals!
Each box comes with 4 recipe kits and 4 step-by-step recipe cards.
Following the recipes, you combine the kits with 4-6 items from your fridge or cupboard.
Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First from this box I cooked the Churrasco Halloumi Burger. In this kit you get Piri Piri Glaze, Spicy Wedge Mix and Saffron Seasoning.

Heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas Mark 6 and bring a pan of water to the boil.

Prep the veg and halloumi.

Make the alioli.

Cook the halloumi.

Serve!

The alioli wasn't for me, I'm not the biggest fan of the flavour.
Skye isn't a fan of halloumi, so as you can see she had beef burgers, while I had the halloumi burgers. I loved them, they were full of flavour. The only downside to halloumi is that as it gets colder, it gets tougher and loses the flavour. But overall this was really nice.

Next from this box I cooked the Balinese Chicken. In this kit you get Garlic Coconut Paste, Balinese Curry Paste and Balinese Curry Garnish.

Get the curry started.

Add the Balinese flavours.

Let it simmer.

Serve!

While I liked the flavours, I prefer a thicker and creamier curry base, this for me was a little watery for my liking.

Next from this box I cooked the Tamil Black Pepper Chicken. In this kit you get Black Pepper Paste, Tamil Style Rice Stock and Turmeric Yoghurt Seasoning.

Heat the oven to 200C/200C Fan/Gas Mark 7 and boil 250ml water in the kettle.

Cook the chicken.

Cook the pilau rice.

Make the turmeric yoghurt sauce.

Serve!

I never thought that I would like rice with raisins in it, but I thought it was really nice.
The chicken was really juicy and tender, and the flavours worked really well, the recipe calls for chicken thighs but I always swap them for chicken breast as I prefer it.
The yoghurt sauce was delicious and worked really well with both the rice and the chicken.

Lastly from this box I cooked the Crispy Chilli Beef. In this kit you get Stir-fry Seasoning, Honey Soy Sauce and Chilli & Garlic Sauce.

This dish always goes down a treat, both myself and Skye really enjoy it. It's definitely become a regular for us.
While I hold back on the spice, it's still full of flavour and never takes me long to devour it.

Now let me get to the business side of the Simply Cook boxes, each box comes with 4 recipe kits which include 3 pots of sauces, herb, stock etc, as well as 4 step-by-step recipe cards, that contain the full list of ingredients you'll need, and alternatives etc.
