I'm back with the 3rd and final instalment in BTS' Love Yourself series and their 2nd compilation album Love Yourself 結 Answer.
On the 17th of July 2018, Big Hit Entertainment announced that BTS were making a comeback with their 2nd compilation album Love Yourself 結, and that it's release date would be the 24th of August. and would contain 7 brand new tracks.
On the 9th of August 2018, Love Yourself 結 Answer 'Epiphany' Comeback trailer was released.

On the 13th of August 2018, Answer Concept Photo S Version was released.
Also on the 13th of August, the Answer Concept Photo E Version was released.
On the 16th of August 2018, the Answer Concept Photo L Version was released.
Also on the 16th of August, the Answer Concept Photo F Version was released.
On the 19th of August 2018, the track list was released for Love Yourself 結 Answer, a few days later on the 22nd of August the Official Teaser for Idol was released.

On the 24th of August 2018, 2 hours before the albums release, Big Hit Entertainment announced that an alternative version of 'Idol' featuring Nicki Minaj would be included on the digital release of the album, on the same day the M/V for Idol was released along with the physical and digital release of Love Yourself 結 Answer.

On the 26th of August 2018, BTS held a press conference discussing the album, as well as the BTS World Tour: Love Yourself, which had begun the previous day.
While in the US for their North America leg of the tour, BTS performed Idol on the 2nd semi final episode of America's Got Talent, which aired the 13th of September. They also performed Idol on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America, as well as a sit-down interview on both shows. On the 1st of October, news surfaced that BTS would be making their UK TV appearance debut on the BBC's The Graham Norton Show on the 12th of October, this was later confirmed by Big Hit Entertainment.
During the period of July 18th to July 24th, the first 6 days of the pre-order for Love Yourself Answer, IRIVER reported that the album had sold more than 1.51 million copies, surpassing it's predecessor Love Yourself: Tear as the most pre-ordered album in South Korea. It debuted at No.1 on the Gaon Albums Chart, selling 1,933,450 million copies during the last 8 days of the month of August. The album broke the record for the most monthly sales in the history of the Gaon Chart since it's inception in 2010. In October, Love Yourself Answer earned the "Double Million Seller" certification from the Korea Music Content Association, for selling over 2 million copies. Love Yourself Answer also debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200, becoming their 2nd number-one album, and their 2nd of 2018 - and their highest sales week in the country to date.
Idol became BTS' first ever song to reach the top 40 of the UK's Official Singles Chart, ranking at No.21, Love Yourself Answer also became BTS' 3rd top 20 album in the UK, hitting No.14 on the Official Albums Chart, the album is now spending it's 12th week in the UK's top 100 Albums Chart.
Idol won a total of 8 music show trophies; with 3 wins through Music Bank, 2 wins through Show Champion and 3 wins through Inkigayo. As well as winning awards domestically, BTS are getting noticed internationally and beginning to win awards on international awards shows. BTS took the award for Favourite Social Artist at the 46th American Music Awards, Top Social Artist at the 26th Billboard Music Awards, Best International Group and Social Media Star at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, Song of the Year and M/V of the Year at the 44th E! People's Choice Awards, Best Fandom and Best Boyband at the 5th iHeart Radio Music Awards and the Biggest Fans and Best Group at the 25th MTV Europe Music Awards.
Love Yourself Answer contains tracks from their previous Love Yourself albums Her and Tear. RM Co-wrote Euphoria.

Love Yourself 結 Answer peaked at No.1 on the Gaon Albums Chart, No.9 on the ARIA (Australian) Albums Chart, No.1 on the Oricon Albums Chart, No.14 on the Official UK Albums Chart and No.1 on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

Love Yourself 結 Answer comes in 4 versions: S, E, L, F. The album is set out in a iridescent card slipcase, with all 4 versions coming with 2 Cd's, a photo book connected to the version teasers, a mini notes book, sticker sheet and a random member photocard.

I think this album is the perfect way to end the Love Yourself series, as you can see I have the S, E, and L versions of the album, I'm wanting to get all the versions for all three of the albums so that I can place them on my bookcase and have their message Love Yourself on show. I'm happy we finally have a studio version of Euphoria, I was in love with this song from the first listen and I think it's the perfect track to open the album up with. I'm in love with Suga's solo track, it has to be my favourite of the 3 new solo tracks, but I think overall of the brand new tracks we got, I have to say that my favourite has to be I'm Fine, looking at the translated lyrics I couldn't help but shed a few tears as I could strongly relate to the song. Out of the photo books, I have to say that version E is my favourite, everything about the pictures in E is aesthetically pleasing.

BTS are one of those groups that get better with each album, I was devastated that I couldn't go see them perform in London but I'm glad that getting the recognition they deserve. Sadly they're still not getting as much airplay on the radio here in the UK, but it's just the beginning of the battle that BTS themselves had to fight.
