I'm back again with another BTS post and this week we're continuing their Love Yourself series, with their 3rd full length album Love Yourself: 轉 Tear.
On the 5th of April 2018, a video titled Euphoria: Theme of Love Yourself 起 Wonder was released, hinting that BTS were gearing up for their next comeback. The video also connected their past albums and concepts to one another.

On the 6th of May 2018, another video was released titled, Love Yourself: 轉 Tear 'Singularity' Comeback Trailer, this time the comeback trailer featured solo vocals from V.

On the 8th of May 2018, the teaser images for the versions of the album were released, starting with 'Tear' Concept Photo O version and 'Tear' Concept Photo R version.

On the 18th of May 2018, the M/V for Fake Love was released along with the physical and digital released of their 3rd full length album Love Yourself: 轉 Tear.

On the 18th of May 2018, just 2 hours before the albums release, a comeback preview show was broadcast live from LA on Naver's V app, featuring the group discussing their new music. Then 2 days later on the 20th of May 2018, Fake Love made it's worldwide television debut, when BTS performed it live at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, marking the first time that a Korean music act has performed at the awards show.
Between the 18th and 25th of April 2018, the first 6 days of the pre-order period, IRIVER reported that the album had sold more than 1.44 million copies domestically, surpassing it's predecessor Love Yourself: 承 Her, as the most pre-ordered album in Korea and making BTS the first K-pop group to have 2 consecutive albums exceed 1 million pre-orders.
Upon it's release in South Korea, Love Yourself: 轉 Tear sold 1,664,041 million copies in it's first 2 weeks, making it the highest monthly sales for an album since the Gaon Charts inception.
On the 27th of May 2018, the album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200, becoming BTS' highest-charting album in the US, as well as the first K-pop album to top the US albums chart, and the highest-charting album by an Asian act. In the UK, the album was BTS' highest-charting album, becoming their first top ten on the UK albums chart, peaking at No.8.
Like with Love Yourself: 承 Her, a special "BTS comeback preview show" hosted by Mnet, was broadcast worldwide on the 24th of May 2018.
BTS promoted for 2 weeks, performing Fake Love, Airplane pt. 2 and Anpanman. Fake Love won BTS 12 music show trophies, with 2 wins on M Countdown, 3 wins on Music Bank, 1 win on Show Champion, 3 wins on Inkigayo and 3 wins on Show Music Core.

The M/V for Fake Love has gained 318,215,022 million views since it's release, with the extended version of Fake Love gaining 21,983,316 million views, the views for both M/V's continue to grow each day.
Love Yourself: 轉 Tear like Love Yourself 承 Her comes in 4 versions this time Y,O,U & R. The album is set out in a black card slipcase and all 4 versions come with a photo book, mini notes book, group standee and random photocard. The Cd and album designs are different for each versions and as from the teasers the pictures within the photo books are completely different.

R Version
As you can I see I have both the Y and R versions of the album, I bought the R version while I was down London visiting my friend Kariss and seeing MONSTA X. I love the pictures within the albums and I love the whole layout for the albums. BTS never disappoint me when it comes to their music, this album from start to finish is pure perfection, with each track being different from the last. I love that V opens up the album, it's nice to be able to hear his vocals on a solo track again, he may not have the strongest of vocals but like with Jimin, his voice just melts the senses. Fake Love is such an amazing track and is a worthy title track, the album brings all kinds of emotions to the surface, from the pain heard in (The Truth Untold), the love for the listener in Magic Shop and the passion in Outro: Tear. I love the mixture of uptempo and slow tracks, showing that BTS are amazing in vocals as well as their powerful choreography on stage.

I love that Love Yourself: 轉 Tear has more of a chilled out feel to it, I'd never imagine that when I first got into K-pop that some of my favourite tracks would be by the rappers of the groups. The more I listen to BTS, the more I fall for Suga's rap, he's now even blowing me away with his vocals. BTS have not long ago made another comeback and have set off on their world tour, I'm utterly devastated that I can't see them at their London concerts.
For now I will say that Love Yourself: 轉 Tear is my favourite BTS album.
