I'm back with another K-pop post and this weeks it's the return of GOT7 with their 8th mini album Eyes On You.
On the 21st of February, a video was released titled The 1st Collaboration.

On the 22nd of February, the Eyes On You track list was released.
On the 25th of February, the schedule announcement was released giving a release date for Eyes On You.
On the 27th of February, a GOT7 group teaser image was released.
On the 28th of February, a pre-release special video was released for 너 하나만 (One And Only You) Feat Hyolyn.

Following the release of Eyes On you, "Look" topped major real time charts in South Korea, becoming their most successful music track since their debut. The album topped the iTunes international charts in 20 countries as well as the Hanteo's daily chart on March 12th for physical album sales.
Look won GOT7 1 music show trophy on Music Bank.
JB aka Defsoul wrote the lyrics for 너 하나만 (One And Only You) and co-wrote and co-composed title track Look.
BamBam co-wrote and co-composed The Reason.
Youngjae aka Ars co-wrote and co-composed 망설이다 (Hesitate).
Yugyeom co-wrote and co-composed 우리 (Us).
Jinyoung wrote and co-composed 고마워 (Thank You).
Eyes On You peaked at No.1 on the Gaon Albums Chart, No.13 on the Oricon Albums Chart, No.2 on the Five-Music Albums Chart, No.2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart and No.2 on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

The M/V for Look has so far gained 40,742,682 million views, with the views increasing each day.
Eyes On You was released in 3 versions: an Eyes version, an On version and a You version. All 3 versions are set out in a paperback book style case with a dust jacket cover that has a random picture on the reverse. All photobooks are different in all 3 versions as is the Cd design for all the versions. All 3 versions come with a lyric poster which has the lyrics on the reverse of a randomly selected poster. All 3 versions also come with 3 randomly selected photocards.

I have the You version but I would like to eventually like to have all 3 versions. I love the pictures in the album and that each member gets to shine individually as well as a group. I love the feel of this album and as odd as it's sounds I love the smell too. The album from start to finish is amazing, I saw recently that during their Eyes on You concert in Seoul, JB broke down in tears talking about promotions for this album and how scared he was, I'm glad they got at least 1 music show trophy as it seems that You Are from 7 For 7 that JB also co-wrote and co-composed on didn't do as well for them, so I think that JB's tears were from relief and happiness that a title track that he was a part of in his eyes succeeded as well as being loved. I've seen many comments saying that GOT7 need to find their sound to really succeed but I love that each album they comeback with has a different sound, it shows to me that they are not only growing as a group but also as composers and lyricist's. The only thing I wasn't fond of with this comeback was JB's hair, why is everyone having a mullet. Each track on this album sounds different but blends together really well. I also have to mention that after 6 years goddess Hyolyn finally appears on a GOT7 track, which I think is something I've wanted to happen since becoming a fan of GOT7 and watching Dream High 2.

GOT7 are about to head out on a world tour with 3 stops in Europe, I'm gutted one of the stops isn't London but I'm also relieved at the same time as it would have meant 3 lots of expensive tickets in the past couple of months with GOT7, MONSTA X (who will be my first K-pop concert) and BTS have just announced 2 dates in London in October for their world tour. I can't wait to see fancams from their tour and see which tracks they performed but I'm gutted I can't witness them in person. I can't wait for their next comeback to see what they have in store for us next.
