It's time to introduce to another of the K-pop groups I've recently got into, I have mentioned this girl group to you in a past K-pop post when I posted about member Hyuna. This album and lead single is what got me more into 4minute, so shall we start?
4minute made their debut in June 2010 through their management Cube Entertainment, they are a 5 member girl group consisting of members; Hyuna, Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon and Sohyun. January 26th 2015 Cube Entertainment revealed that 4minute would be pre-releasing a track from their 6th mini album, the track was titled 추운 비(Cold Rain) and would be their first ballad to be released as a single. After the announcement the MV was released.

On the 29th of January Cube announced that 4minutes lead and comeback singles was titled 미쳐(Crazy), then on February 6th Cube Entertainment released a teaser for the comeback single 미쳐(Crazy).
Just 2 days later on the 8th of February 2015 the MV for 미쳐(Crazy) was released.
According to KBS' music review results on February 4th album track 1 철만 하시죠(Cut it out) was banned for it's use of slang being deemed inappropriate, leading Cube Entertainment to re-work the lyrics so the group could perform the track on selected music shows.
미쳐(Crazy) saw success for the girl group reaching No.2 on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart and No.4 of the Gaon Monthly Album Chart, the mini album also hit No.1 in America on the Billboard World Album Chart.
Set out in a book style case the album stands out with a white front and back cover with a black spine, the booklet has 3 sets of photo shoots with the first following the black and white concept of the 미쳐(Crazy) MV, the second being a dark sexy grunge look and the third being a brighter colourful concept with the girls wearing a more feminine and sexy sport gear which reminds me a little of Sporty Spice from the Spice Girls. Each member looks stunning showing off their personalities as both individuals and a group.

This was my first purchase of 4minutes and I've pretty much been hooked and followed them since, apparently their contracts are up for renewal soon so hopefully they all resign and create more music as 4minute. They have also not long ago had a comeback in which Skrillex collaborated with them. On my first listen of this album I was in love with tracks 미쳐(Crazy) and Show Me but now I think all 6 tracks are amazing and I couldn't imagine any other group apart from 4minute performing these songs. I honestly think 4minute are a girl group that no matter the concept they could pull it off and really work it, they are one of the few girls groups that are chameleon's in the K-pop world.
