On the 17th of October 2021, a Teaser Images was released to announce the groups comeback.
On the 18th of October 2021, the Doom Teaser Images were released for Sangyeon, Kevin, Q and Juyeon.
On the 19th of October 2021, the Doom Teaser Images were released for Ju Haknyeon, Jacob, New and Younghoon.
On the 20th of October 2021, the Doom Teaser Images were released for Eric, Sunoo and Hyunjae.
On the 21st of October 2021, the Mood Teaser Images were released.
On the 24th of October 2021, the Maverick Trailer was released.

The M/V for Maverick has so far gained 34,069,274 million views, with the views continuing to increase on a daily basis.
Maverick was released in 3 versions: Doom, Mood and Story Book.
All 3 versions are set out in a hardback book style case and come with the Cd, photo book, random poster, random invitation card, random unit card, 2 random photo cards and a random ID card.
All 3 photo books are different.

As you can see from above, I have both the Doom Version and the Mood version of the album, I love that the covers are plain and simple, I really think it helps the albums name to really make an impact. The photo books for both versions are stunning, the Doom version gives me Battle Royale vibes, while I love that the Mood version is in black & white, you really get different vibes from each of the photo books.
Even though there are only 3 tracks, each one is different and really shows a new side to THE BOYZ, it's definitely an album I have on repeat quite a bit.
Maverick is definitely one of my favourite title tracks from THE BOYZ, as soon as it started, I knew I was going to love it. Everything about it is spot on from the melody, to the raps, to the vocals. It's also one of those songs where I can't help but sing along with the chorus, it's such a catchy track, also Sangyeon's high note is *chef's kiss*.

I love the vibe of Hypnotized, the melody is so good and I love how their vocals go with the melody. The tones of their voices fit perfectly with this song and it gives off such a mature vibe, I could listen to this song all day.

I think the melody for Russian Roulette allows the members voices to really stand out, even if they're matching their vocal tones with the melody. Out of all the tracks on this single album, I this one shows how mature they can be with their sound.

So far this has to be my favourite release from THE BOYZ, it really shows how they can change up their sound and pull it off perfectly. I can't wait to see what they bring us next.
I think their next comeback could be strange as Eric is on a hiatus and has headed back to America to recover his health. I hope he recovers well and takes his time to get back to 100%, it will be odd not see him for a while but I hope he remembers that his health comes first and THEB will always wait for him.
