For a couple of months now I have been subscribed to receive a Simply Cook box every 2 weeks, I have so far had 6 boxes and have enjoyed all of them.

Cook restaurant quality meals!
Each box comes with 4 recipe kits and 4 step-by-step recipe cards.
Following the recipes, you combine the kits with 4-6 items from your fridge or cupboard.
Then in just 20 minutes  you'll be enjoying a delicious meal for 2-4 people.

First cooked from my second box (I didn't make any records of my first and trial box), was the Mexican Pulled Chicken. In this kit you get Spicy Wedge Seasoning, Chipotle Paste and Mole Sauce.

Poach the chicken.

Prepare and cook the sweet potato chips

Prep the slaw.

Make the pulled chicken.

Serve

While Skye wasn't a big fan of this recipe, I loved it, the slaw was perfect and for me tasted better than store bought. All the flavours were amazing and I thought the quantities were perfect for just 2 people, I'm not really a big fan of spicy food and tend to go for a mild spice, while this was spicier than I prefer, it was still nice and the slaw helped with the heat.
It was really easy and quick to make.

Second dish cooked from this box was the Vietnamese Pork. In this kit you get Beef & Ginger Stock, Thit Kho Paste and Chilli Garlic Sauce.

Cook the rice.

Fry the pork.

Make the sauce.

Finishing touches.

Serve.

This was really tasty and was really easy and quick to make. This is another dish that was spicier than I normally like, but the pork was delicious.

The 3rd dish made from this box was the Thai Basil Pork. In this kit you get Chilli Garlic Paste, Thai Style Seasoning, Pad Kra Prao Sauce.

Fry the pork mince.

Add the Thai flavours.

Wilt the basil.

Serve.

While this was really easy to make and cooked pretty quickly, I couldn't make my mind up on whether I liked the flavours or not. Skye seemed to have the same reaction as me so I think this is one of those dishes that i would need to cook and try again to decide whether it's a dish for us or not.

The 4th and final dish made from this box was the Pad Thai. In this kit you get Pad Thai Paste, Tamarind and Thai Tomato Paste.

Cook the noodles.
I used fresh noodles so they were to be put in during step 3.

Fry the prawns.

Add the Thai Flavours.

Serve.

I really enjoyed this dish, it was really tasty and really refreshing with the prawns.
This was the first time I'd made Pad Thai and I'd happily have it in another of my Simply Cook boxes. As expected Skye didn't seem to be too fussed about it, even though I didn't add the prawns to her bowl.

Now let me get to the business side of the Simply Cook boxes, each box comes with 4 recipe kits which include 3 pots of sauces, herb, stock etc, as well as 4 step-by-step recipe cards, that contain the full list of ingredients you'll need, and alternatives etc.
