DAY6 mainly choose to promote themselves by doing live gigs and touring round like other bands as they want to be recognised as being a band and not for being idols, even member Jae stated through is Twitter account that they were a band and not idols, they have only promoted through music show programmes 4 times since their debut, 3 of which have been for their Every DAY6 releases, 어떻게 말해 (How Can I Say), 장난 아닌데 (I'm Serious) and 반드시 웃는다 (I Smile). DAY6 are heavily involved with their music with the members participating in both the lyrics and the music, the group as a whole wrote and help compose their debut single Congratulations, which appears on their Sunrise album as a final version of the original song.

Sunrise peaked at No,4 on the Gaon Albums Chart, No.163 on the Oricon Albums Chart and No.6 on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

Honestly for me even after so many groups have released amazing albums, which is including Girls Generation's 10 year anniversary album, Sunrise for me is the best and my most favourite album to be released in 2017, soon as the album has finished playing, I hit that play button to start it all over again. I love the whole layout of the album and I love that they don't forget that DAY6 are a band, the concept reminds me of something that The Beatles would do. Personally for me I think if any band or group wanted to break into a more international market like the UK, I think DAY6 are one of the few groups that could have sell out gigs in the UK as well as the rest of the world, there are times that I forget that I'm listening to a Korean band as they remind me so much of bands I listen to like InMe, Fall Out Boy, McFly and Busted, it's also because of this that I sometimes get confused as to why I can't understand what they're singing as I forget it's not in English. Each track is different from the last and I found it really hard to only pick a few songs to share with you as I wanted to share all 14 but I thought doing so would make this post even longer.

Congratulations

오늘은 내게 (Lean On Me)

My Day

Say Wow

아 왜 (I Wait)

어떻게 말해 (How Can I Say)

Mnet K-POP

반드시 웃는다 (I Smile)

My only regret with DAY6 is that I actually waited till the release of 반드시 웃는다 (I Smile) and Sunrise to bite the bullet and buy one of their releases, that was even after I decided to check out 아 왜 (I Wait), I gave up when I couldn't find the album that the song was on, finding out when Sunrise got released was because it had not been released onto an album yet. DAY6 continue with their Every DAY6 project and so far since 반드시 웃는다 (I Smile) have released another 4 songs with 2 M/V's, with a new release due within the next week or so. I'm now wanting to get my hands on their past releases to check them out. I admire and love so many K-pop groups but DAY6 are one of the groups that I would highly recommend even if you weren't a fan of K-pop or even rock music, I don't think you'd be disappointed with them.

Are you part of the My Day fandom?
Do you have a favourite track from Sunrise?
What has been your favourite Every DAY6 track so far?

See you soon!
