It's been 5 months since I made a post about BTS, so I'm back with their 2nd mini album Skool Luv Affair.
On the 26th of January 2014, Big Hit Entertainment released a countdown clock onto BTS' official website. Then on the 2nd of February 2014, the Skool Luv Affair Comeback Trailer was released. Four days later on the 6th of February, the Skool Luv Affair Preview was released.

On the 9th of February 2014, the M/V Teaser for title track 상남자 (Boy In Luv) was released.

On the 11th of February 2014, the M/V was released for title track 상남자 (Boy In Luv).

The very next day on the 12th of February 2014, BTS' 2nd mini album Skool Luv Affair was released both physically and digitally.
On the 16th of February 2014, the 상남자 (Boy In Luv) Dance Practice video was released.

On the 20th of February 2014, the Choreography M/V was released for 상남자 (Boy In Luv).

On the 2nd of April 2014, an M/V Teaser was released for track 하루만 (Just One Day).

On the 6th of April 2014, the M/V for 하루만 (Just One Day) was released.

Then 6 days later on the 12th of April 2014, the Dance Practice video was released for 하루만 (Just One Day).

On the 11th of February 2014, BTS held a comeback showcase, performing their title track 상남자 (Boy In Luv) and Jump. Promotions for the album and title track began on the 13th of February, with promotions continuing on the 9th of April for 하루만 (Just One Day).
The 23rd of February 2014, saw BTS get their 1st music show nomination as a candidate for 1st place on Inkigayo.
Skool Luv Affair, marked the first time that a BTS album charted on international charts.
RM, Suga and J-Hope co-wrote on tracks Intro: Skool Luv Affair, 어디에서 왔는지(Where Did You Come From), 하루만 (Just One Day), BTS Cypher pt2: Triptych, 등골브레이커 (Spine Breaker), Tomorrow and Jump.
RM and Suga co-wrote on title track 상남자 (Boy In Luv).
Skool Luv Affair peaked at No.1 on the Gaon Albums Chart and No.3 on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

The 상남자 (Boy In Luv) M/V has gained 10,475,611 million views through the official Big Hit YouTube channel, while through the channel 1theK the M/V has gained 287,089,704 million views, giving the M/V a total view count so far of 297,565,315 million views, with the views increasing on a daily basis.
The Skool Luv Affair mini album is set out in a fold-out hardback case and comes with the Cd, photo book, stickers and random photo card.
The photo book follows the school concept as well as following the 상남자 (Boy In Luv) M/V.

Some of my favourite BTS tracks and albums come from their earlier releases and I always enjoy going back to those albums and feeling like I was there when it was released. Personally for me Skool Luv Affair is one of those albums, when I listen to this album I feel that it's aged really well and wouldn't think it was released 5 years ago. I personally think that you know an album is good when you just see the name of the song and you are mentally singing the melody and the lyrics. I think each track is completely different from it's previous on the track list and each can stand alone but I would have to say some of my favourites from this album are Intro: Skool Luv Affair, 하루만 (Just One Day), Tomorrow and Outro: Propose. I think Skool Luv Affair shows a more softer side to BTS that people didn't necessarily see with 2 Cool 4 Skool and it definitely shows a growth between the 2 releases. I definitely recommend checking out the Skit's from their albums as I think it gives not only this album but others they appear on a more personal touch, like on their album The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt. 1, the skit titled Expectation! is them talking about how they don't really have an expectations from this album in the way of recognition or music show wins, unbeknown to them it was the album that pricked every ones ears and gave them their first music show trophy.
