Better Things *Digital release*
I've followed Aespa since their debut and I've always enjoyed their music, but I've never bought any of their albums, so it's nice to have one in my collection. I got it as a mystery album which I've been quite lucky when we've bought these albums as I've always go someone I'm either familiar with or listen to.
I have the Giselle Giant version of the album, I was expecting the photobook to be member based like other album's I've got but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the photobook, the styling and concept was stunning.
The album itself is good, it shows a new side to the group, while still having that Aespa vibe and uniqueness.
I think Drama is a really catchy title track, and it's definitely different from their past title tracks but still keeping that hard hitting and catchy chorus. I love the contrast between the rapping and the singing, it really shows that they're versatile in that aspect.

With a name like Trick or Treat, I definitely expected a darker vibe from this song and it fits perfectly. I really like the melody as well as their vocals. For me it definitely gives of an eerie vibe and I love it.

I really like the melody for Don't Blink, it threw me off on my first listen to it's definitely unique. It has a good mixture of having a dark vibe while attempting to make it a little brighter too.

I love the melody for Hot Air Balloon, you can tell from the intro it's going to be a fun song. I love that Aespa can pull off songs like this. heir vocals with the melody really adds to it. This is a song that definitely gets me tapping my foot along when I'm sat listening to it.

For me from the name I was expecting YOLO to be an upbeat anthem style song and I wasn't wrong. I knew it would be a song that gets you hyped up and grooving along. You know this is a song that's a crowd pleaser at concerts.

I really like You it's a stunning song. Their vocal tones against the melody compliment it as well as each other. I've always loved Aespa's harmonisation together, it's always blown me away and this song shows that off.

I've loved Better Things since it's release and I'm glad it was included with their album, it's just a shame it was only included digitally and not on their physical release. I love the melody and vocals throughout the song.
Better Things
Aespa are an amazing group and I'm lucky to have been able to see them live during the SMTOWN London show. Sadly they do get a lot of hate at times, which I find odd with any group. They have great chemistry together and I enjoy seeing them experiment with music, even if I don't always love it. I definitely think they own their sound and I always look forward to see what they bring us next.
