DAY6 (Even of Day) are the first sub-unit group from DAY6, in August 2020, JYP Entertainment announced that DAY6 (Even of Day) would be making their unit debut, and would be consisting of DAY6 members, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon.
The Book of Us: Gluon - Nothing Can Tear Us Apart is their debut mini album.
On the 14th of August 2020, The Book of Us: Gluon Trailer Film was released.

On the 3rd of September 2020, Even of Day held their debut stage on M Countdown.
Young K and Wonpil co-wrote the lyrics for 땡스 투 (Thanks To), with both Young K and Wonpil also co-composing on the track.

I love the concept and layout for this album, while it's a similar layout for past DAY6 albums you can tell it's from Even of Day and not a whole DAY6 release.
I love photo book, the styling and concept is gorgeous, and I'd love to see more stuff like this from both Even of Day and DAY6.
The album itself, is amazing, for me it's something new and unique, and it definitely put a smile on my face, especially with the DENIMALZ 3.
To know how unique this album is you just have to hear Landing - Intro - (With DENIMALZ 3), I love the melody and I think it's the perfect intro not only for this album but for the unit's debut, you know you're in for an adventure.

As soon as 그렇게 너에게 도착하였다 (Landed) starts you can't help but tap your foot and bop your head to the melody, it reminds me of something that would have been released in the 80's, the beat makes me think of TOTO's Africa. I absolutely adore Young K and Wonpil's voices in this song.

Ocean - Interlude 1- (With DENIMALZ 3) is another song that gets you at least swaying your head to the music, but then at the end I can't help but giggle at our little DENIMALZ 3 shouting No at the end, which I think links perfectly into the next track.

I think 파도가 끝나는 곳까지 (Where The Sea Sleeps) is the perfect unit debut track, I love the melody and I love their voices, they fit perfectly with the melody, and while you know it's DAY6 just from Young K and Wonpil's voices you can tell it's a new sound that they are able to bring us through Even of Day. I don't know if it's just me but how they sing the song and the melody makes me thinks of a lullaby.

I love these interlude tracks and Forest - Interlude 2 - (With DENIMALZ 3), is no different. They all seem to lead perfectly into the next track, connecting them together.

땡스 투 (Thanks To) is another track that as soon as it starts, I'm moving along with the melody. I love that while we don't really get to hear Dowoon sing, we still get to hear him end this track, which I think is the perfect way to end this track. You don't even know the translation to know they're writing and singing this song from the heart.

I will be the first to admit that To Be Continued (Sung by DENIMALZ 3) is my favourite track on this album, every time I hear it it never fails to make me smile, it gives off a fun fare vibe and makes you excited for the next adventure Even of Day will take us on, especially with the DENIMALZ 3.

I love this album it has such a unique and futuristic sound, I do feel gutted though that we only got to hear Dowoon with his voice altered, but it is very rare that we get to hear Dowoon sing anyway.
DAY6 (Even of Day) have just had their first comeback and I think as this unit they want to show new sides of them with every return, which I love as it shows how versatile they are as a band.
