After several months (October last year (2017)) I'm back with a MONSTA X post and even though I've been delayed in doing this post I've been so excited to share this album with you. My last MONSTA X post was their debut mini album and at the end of that post I said they were about to make their comeback that November and that I was hoping it would bring them their 1st music show win. Well shall we see how their 5th mini album The Code did?
On the 17th of October 2017, Piece of Protocol Terminal #1 was released.
On the 19th of October 2017, Piece of Protocol Terminal #2 was released.

At the beginning of the year I did a post on My Top 10 K-pop Albums of 2017 and it went in at my No.2 spot, what I love about MONSTA X is that with each album their talent grows and each album is better than the last. I was so proud of them for finally getting their first music show win, I was really proud of Jooheon for taking over for Shownu when he was to overcome with emotion to speak, I was even proud of or emotional Wonho for not crying on stage, it was a very well deserved win. Now for the album I was really happy seeing Wonho's name credited in the album and while I love every track on the album From Zero is my go to track rain or shine, I love the lyrics and the music, I even was lucky enough to hear it live this year. When this album was released I believed it was their best album released so far and I think that's what you want from an artist. Each track is amazing and even though each track sounds different from the last, each track still has their MONSTA X flair. Each track could really be a title track, don't believe me then check them out now.

MONSTA X recently had a comeback back in March and with the release of that album they also announced their 2nd world tour which had 3 stops in Europe, with the 1st stop being in London and YES I was lucky enough to get tickets and go see them live, it was an experience I won't forget and hope to experience again. I'm assuming we have a bit of a wait before they make another comeback and I'm assuming it will be towards the end of the year but, even though they are on tour, they aren't too far away as they post on their Twitter account as well as their show MONSTA X RAY making a return for a 3rd season, keeping the power and hype of MONSTA X up.
What's your favourite track from The Code?
How did you react to their 1st music show win?
Did you/are you seeing them on tour?

See you soon!
