It's time to check out another release from B.A.P and for this one we're going back to 2013 before B.A.P stood their ground and started a lawsuit against TS Entertainment.
Badman is B.A.P's 3rd mini album and on the 28th of July 2013, TS Entertainment announced that B.A.P would be releasing their 3rd mini album that would be titled Badman. TS Entertainment hinted that the Badman was a mini album only B.A.P could do and also announced that there would be 3 promotional tracks being released from the album, 2 pre-release tracks and the title track.
On the 19th of June an M/V teaser was released for their first promotional single titled Coffee Shop, showing a different and more mellow side to B.A.P

On the 17th of July their next promotional M/V was released for Hurricane, the M/V was shot solely in Las Vegas and got a bit of a humorous response with Himchan's mispronunciation of roof, the track was then re-recorded with Himchan re-doing that section of the song.

So far as a whole Badman is in joint place for my favourite B.A.P mini album with Carnival, I've made it no secret that VIXX are my favourite male K-pop group when it comes to the concepts of their released but B.A.P go that extra step and release music that has meaning and gives out a message to the listener whether it's a positive message or a negative message, their latest release Wake Me Up, sheds light on mental illness something that the group has witnessed first hand in their own personal ways with Yongguk suffering from a panic disorder, Himchan with his weight issues as well as Daehyun admitting he drank till it became a problem for him. Badman is no different with Yongguk saying "I thought it was unfortunate that you always hear about criminals every time you turn on the news, making society feel scary and unsafe. I wanted to bring awareness. I feel that there are so many big issues that we should not forget about yet we forget them so easily. I felt that no one else would convey these messages about society if we didn't do it". Badman as a whole is such an amazing mini album, each track is different and I think TS were right, I think this is a release only B.A.P could pull off, I can't see anyone being able to do the tracks the way B.A.P does. The lyrics for Bow Wow made me laugh so much the first time I saw the translated lyrics, the song is basically a guy telling his girlfriend that it doesn't matter that he's checking out other girls because once he turns back round his attention is back on her and he's forgotten about the other woman. To be honest when I first heard the Badman single I wasn't really a fan but it quickly grew on me and I LOVE Daehyun's vocals on this song especially at the start, when I first heard the start of the song it reminded me of a song by Nine Inch Nails that I like. I love the styling changes in the booklet showing them all with a darker side for Badman and a softer side for Coffee Shop, showing that B.A.P are a versatile group that can do hard and powerful as well as colourful and fun. If you haven't then check out the tracks from the album below.

Each B.A.P album is amazing and each is always different, it's sad that because of their hiatus from their lawsuit they lost a lot of their fans as with their music they could really help a lot of people no matter their worries or troubles.
