Welcome to not only my first post of 2017, but also my first K-pop post of 2017, so for this post I decided to introduce a new group that has only been out a year and their popularity keeps on growing.
Twice are a girl group formed through a reality show titled Sixteen in 2015 by JYP Entertainment, the group consists of 9 members:
Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung & Tzuyu
Back in October 2015 on the 7th JYP announced that Twice would debut with their first mini album titled The Story Begins and their title track would be OOH-AHH하게 (Like OHH-AHH).
Like GOT7's debut the first set of teasers was introducing each of them members for their debut single. On the 11th of October 2015 the first 3 teasers were released for Nayeon, Momo and Mina.

The next 3 teasers were released for Sana, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu on the 12th of October 2015.

On the 14th of October 2015 a teaser was released of the group as a whole. The next day on the 15th of October 2015 the M/V teaser for OOH-AHH하게 (Like OHH-AHH) was released.

The teasers kept coming with an Instrumental Album Spoiler being released on the 16th of October.

The 19th of October 2015 the M/V for OOH-AHH하게 (Like OHH-AHH) was finally released, their debut mini album The Story Begin was released the 20th of October 2015. Within 5 months after it's release the M/V for OOH-AHH하게 (Like OHH-AHH) hit 50 million views and replaced 2NE1's Fire as the most viewed debut M/V for any K-pop group, November 11th 2016, just over a year after it's release the M/V hit 100 million views making them the 4th K-pop girl group to reach that milestone as well as as the first debut M/V to do so.
They started promotions on the 22nd of October 2015 and even though the track was successful they failed to win any music show awards.
The Story Begins peaked at No.3 on the Gaon Weekly Albums Chart, No.1 on the Taiwanese G-Music Weekly Albums Chart and No.46 on the Japanese Oricon Weekly Albums Chart.
The views for OOH-AHH하게 (Like OHH-AHH) continue to rise as Twice gains more popularity with the M/V gaining 113,684,968 views which increases each day.
The album is set out in a glossy hardback case, which is white making the groups logo stand out, the colour scheme continues onto the back cover too. Like many K-pop albums I have the concept of the album reflects the lead single with them wearing outfits seen in the M/V, the back cover has a group photo which has the members name pointing to each member for fans to get to know who is who. The booklet begins with each members thank yous for which I've noticed with both Twice & GOT7 they thank they're Sunbae groups like 2pm and Miss A. The pictures of the girls are really pretty which doesn't surprise me because they are 9 stunning young ladies. The mini album also has a separate little booklet that folds out to reveal the track list as well as the lyrics, which different had hand written for the booklet, OOH-AHH하게 (Like OHH-AHH) was handwritten by Sana, 다시 해줘 (Do It Again) was handwritten by Momo, 미쳤나봐 (Going Crazy) was handwritten by Jihyo, Truth was handwritten by Tzuyu, Candy boy was handwritten by Nayeon and Like A Fool was also handwritten by Tzuyu.

It wasn't really till their latest comeback that I decided to give Twice a try and really liked their latest single, so I went back and re-watched the M/V for OOH-AHH하게 (Like OHH-AHH), when I first saw it I couldn't get past why they had to put them in such short skirts for certain dance moves especially when they are still quite young, but after a few more watches a listens I got passed it because whether I was a fan of the M/V I couldn't deny that the song was really catchy and 3 members really caught my eye so I wanted to keep checking out Twice to see how they improved, I can never choose just 1 bias so I have 3 which are: Momo, Jeongyeon and Tzuyu, I'm slowly remembering names and faces. For a first mini album it's pretty good and no song sounds the same, which is always a bonus as it shows of their vocals more. Twice may not be the strongest vocally but they are still pretty new and have plenty of time to improve and continue to rise in popularity.

For a debut Twice did good and I'm looking forward to seeing how their music grows, I've liked all 3 of their comeback tracks so far, so here's hoping Twice can work harder and prove their haters wrong.
