Again? Again!
I have the blue standard version and I love the layout. I love the photobook, to me it's not your typical rock band photoshoot. But I love how bright the pictures are, it really makes the members stand out and make it all eye catching.
The album itself is amazing, each track is different and stands out. It really made them one of the groups I pay attention to a whole lot more, it even appeared on my Top 20 2023 album list.
I absolutely love Freddy, it's definitely one of my favourite B-sides on the album. I love the melody, there's something about this song that feels really reminiscent. I've been in love with this song since my first listen. This song makes me wonder if they enjoy horror films as the lyrics are about Freddy Kreuger.
Freddy
I love how Break The Brake starts, for me it shows its going to go hard and go big. They're all amazing vocalists. This was definitely my favourite title track until recently. I absolutely love the melody. This is one of those songs that gets me rocking.
Break The Brake
I love the melody for Pluto and the vocals are stunning. This is another song that makes me feel reminiscent. For me the intro makes me think of Stray Kids but the more it goes into the song the more it makes me think of Day6. It's like they've taken aspects from both of those groups and made it their own. It's a little ore chilled than previous 2 tracks but still packs a punch.
Pluto
I really like the mixture of rap and vocals in Enemy. I love how more chilled this song is, while I love the more heavier rock sounds from them. I also love being able to hear their slower tracks too as for me they can't really do no wrong musically.
Enemy
Bad Chemical reminds me of another of their songs, as it starts it makes me think of Test Me. While I like this track, I do feel like there is something missing, it doesn't seem to hit like the other tracks on the album and I think it could be down to lack of Xdinary Heroes flair as they weren't involved in making this track.
Bad Chemical
The melody for Paranoid is absolutely stunning and fits each of their vocal tones perfectly. I know they participated in making the music for this song, but I wonder if they were given the lyrics first and composed the song that way or if they composed the track first and the lyrics were made to fit the melody. For me I'd hope it would be them seeing the lyrics first and composing after as for me, that would show how insanely talented they are.
Paranoid
I love how Again? Again! starts, and a love the filter on the vocals at the start. I often dislike effects on voices in songs but like songs like this one, it sometimes works and adds that bit more to the track. This is definitely one of those songs that gets me bopping along to it.
Again? Again!
This album made me fall in love with Xdinary Heroes, while I loved some of their past tracks, this was the first time I was completely in love with the whole album. I had this album on repeat quite a lot and I still listen to it often.
I love that seem to be sticking to their rockier sounding songs and for me that works as it makes me love each release even more. I hope they keep gaining traction and releasing amazing albums and I hope they come back to the UK so I can witness them live as I know they'll be amazing and put on an amazing show.
