Closer
Wishing On You
Don't Wanna Go Back (Duet with Heize)
Room
Nightmare
I have the Y version of the album and I love that there is 2 different covers, allowing the dust jacket to be used as a poster if you wish. I love the photobook, the styling really suits Jihyo and I love the lighting used because it makes the pictures pop so much more. I love the glossy pages as i gives me high end fashion vibes.
I love the album, it gives Jihyo an identity away from Twice as a solo artist allowing her to stand alone, rather than being Twice's Jihyo.
I love Killin' Me Good, this style and vibe really suits Jihyo's voice. The melody and chorus are really catchy. This is definitely a good solo debut title track, I thought it really made an impact and signalled her own style.
Killin' Me Good
I love the melody for Talkin' About It (Feat. 24kGoldn). I never really noticed that she could deepen her voice the way she does in this song. It makes me wonder if JYP made her sing in a certain way for Twice. I think this song would have done amazing as a title track. I really love her voice in this song.
Talkin' About It (Feat. 24kGoldn)
I love Closer, Jihyo's vocals against the melody is stunning, her vocal tones really fit perfectly, making it sound so good.
Closer
Jihyo's voice in Wishing On You is perfect, her voice sounds stunning, especially against the melody. To me it gives off such a soft, mature and sensual sound and vibe. Taking her miles away from being a member of Twice. This is definitely one of my favourite songs on this album.
Wishing On you
Don't Wanna Go Back (Duet with Heize) is a stunning mid-tempo track. As expected this track really shows how stunning Jihyo's voice is and I love how both Jihyo and Heize's voices really compliment one another in this song.
Don't Wanna Go Back (Duet with Heize)
Knowing that Jihyo had a hand in composing Room, makes me love this song so much more. This song for me is kind of relaxing, especially with her vocals against the melody. This song is one of those songs that shows how strong her voice and vocal range is.
Room
The melody for Nightmare fits perfectly with it's name, I love how it changes, it gives it an eerie feeling and that's just the melody. Jihyo's voice on this song makes it one of my favourite tracks on this album, and knowing she wrote the lyrics and also composed on the track shows she's not just a talented singer. This is definitely the perfect song to close the album with as for me it has an everlasting feeling to it. This definitely a song you'd have on repeat.
Nightmare
This is definitely a perfect solo debut, it allows Jihyo to shine as a solo artist and allowing her to show off her own vibe and style. While I'm a big fan of Twice, I can't help but think that on the music aspect it slightly holds her back, but I love that it also means she gets to show more sides of herself.
This album really allowed her to show off a more mature and sensual side, I wouldn't say it's an album that allows her to be true to herself because she does love being a member of Twice, it's just an album that allows her to show off her own style and colour.
