Face The Sun is Seventeen's 4th full length album.
In March 2022, Pledis Entertainment announced that Seventeen would be making a comeback and that it would be with a full length album.
On the 13th of April 2022, the M/V Teaser was released for pre-release single Darl+ing.

Face the Sun surpassed 1.74 million pre-orders in one week, exceeding Seventeen's previous career high of 1.71 pre-orders for Attacca.
On May 20th 2022, it was reported that the album had recorded 2 million pre-orders.

The M/V for HOT has so far gained 154,576,947 million views, with the views still increasing rapidly on a daily basis.
Face the Sun was released in 18 versions: 5 regular versions named 1. Control, 2. Shadow, 3. Ray, 4. Path and 5. Pioneer, and 13 Carat versions.
The Regular versions are set out in a card envelope box and comes with the Cd, photo book, lyric book, random pet card, 2 random postcard and 4 random photo card. First Press releases also came with a random poster and a random highlighter pen.
The Carat versions are member based and are set out in a hardcover binder and come with the Cd, member specific photo card binder, member specific photo card set, lyric book and 4 random photo cards.
All photo books are different.

I have the Carat version of the album and I got Mingyu's version.
I love how colourful this album is, and I love that we get a set of photo cards rather than a photo book, it's all really cute and looked fun to create.
The album itself is amazing, as always from Seventeen. Each track showcases that Seventeen vibe and charm, while still showcasing something new.
I love the melody for Darl+ing, it's such a cute and sweet song and while I prefer Korean tracks over English, I love that this song is in English. It makes the track inclusive to all of their fans.

I was in love with HOT as soon as I heard it. The raps, the vocals, the melody, all of it is on point. It's definitely one of my favourite title tracks of theirs. It fits each member perfectly. The only downfall now is that I can't hear this song without getting Boys Planet into my head.

If it wasn't for Seventeen, I probably never have known the whole meaning behind Don Quixote. The name was familiar, but other than that it was something I knew nothing about it. The message in the novel is that 'one must live life in a genuine, passionately, in spite of what other people think'. For me this message fits perfectly with Seventeen, they create the music they want and love and when others love it it's a bonus.

March is one of my favourite tracks on this album, and has been since it's release. This is definitely a song I have on repeat a lot. I love the melody, and I would love to see them perform it live. This is a song I'd play for non K-pop fans as well as people that were only casual listeners to both K-pop and Seventeen.

For me Domino is a typical Seventeen track, from start to finish it has that Seventeen vibe.

Another of my favourite tracks on this album is Shadow, the intro melody is stunning and really sets the song perfectly. The voices in this track is perfect, the melody suits them all perfectly too. And if you're a seventeen fan, you're familiar with their performance of this track in the rain, which just adds so much more to it. This is one of those songs that makes me swoon for Seventeen as a whole.

노래해 (Bout You) is such a cute and upbeat track, no matter how many times I listen to it, as soon as it starts, my foot starts tapping along.

One thing I love about Seventeen, is that whether a members main focus is rap, they're still have strong vocal skills and If You Leave Me proves that. Seventeen are an all round strong and talented group.
If You Leave Me
For me Ash is something new from Seventeen, it's not something I would think I'd hear from them, which is why I love it.
Ash
Seventeen raise the bar with each release and always blow me away, this album was no different. It's sad to think their next release could be without members, as their military enlistments begin to approach. But I still look forward to their return, especially if they're going to better their previous releases.
