JYP Entertainment announced that promotions for the album had been postponed due to all the members, minus Felix and I.N, testing positive for Covid-19, then on the 26th of March 2022, it was announced that music show promotions would begin again on the 30th of March.
On the 17th of March 2022, a day before the albums release, it was reported that ODDINARY had exceeded 1.3 million copies in pre-orders, surpassing the 930,00 pre-orders for NOEASY and setting a new record as JYP's most pre-ordered album.
In the US, ODDINARY debuted and No.1 on the Billboard 200 on the issue date of April 4th, becoming Stray Kids first album to appear on the chart, and the 3rd Korean act in history to top the chart, after BTS and SuperM.
Bang Chan, Changbin and Han wrote the lyrics for 거미줄 (Venom), Charmer, 땡 (Freeze) and title track MANIAC, as well as co-composing on the tracks.

The M/V for MANIAC has so far gained 96,022,412 million views so far, the views are still rising rapidly.
ODDINARY was released in 11 versions: 1 limited edition (Frankenstein), 2 standard versions (Scanning & Mask Off) and 8 member jewel case versions.
The limited edition is set out in a box case and comes with the Cd, photo book, lyrics paper, mini poster, sticker sheet, character art book, pop-up invitation card, 1 random ID card and 2 random photo cards.

Pre-orders for both versions also came with a trading unit photo card set and a folded poster.
The Scanning Ver. is blue and the Mask Off Ver. is red.
The jewel case versions are set out as a normal jewel case Cd case and comes with the Cd, member based photo booklet, sticker sheet, random photo badges and a random photo card. Pre-orders also came with a folded mini photo book.

I love how pretty simple the packaging and layout of the album is and I love the photo book, it really fits the Frankenstein concept.
The album itself is amazing, I always love their releases, but I feel that this album is on another level, each track brings something new and shows they're staying true to who they are as a group.
I was in love with 거미줄 (VENOM) from the release of it's Unveil track and I was excited to hear the track in it's entirety. I was not left disappointed. As soon as this track starts, I always find myself singing along. I think the melody makes this track sound really eerie and I love it.
거미줄 (Venom)
I love the melody for MANIAC, I love the transitions between the verses and chorus, and I especially love Felix and Hyunjin's vocals in the chorus, there's something about how they say Frankenstein. This is definitely up there as one of my favourite title tracks from Stray Kids and I can honestly say it's been played a lot since it's release.
MANIAC
What's not to love about Charmer, it's definitely one of my favourite b-sides from the album, I love the melody, especially in the chorus. This is one of those songs that whether you're a STAY or not, a K-pop fan or not, it will get you moving to the music. It's a very enticing track.

땡 (FREEZE) has Stray Kids unique style and sound, while they're songs all sound unique, this track is one of those tracks that when you hear it you know it's their song.

I knew Lonely St. was going to be my favourite track from this album from the release of it's Unveil track. I love everything about it, from the melody to the raps, to the vocals. For me this is Stray Kids at their best, it always makes me feel emotional and that's down to hearing the emotion in their voices. For me this song is definitely not long enough.

The melody for 피어난다 (Waiting For Us) is stunning and the vocals fit so perfectly with the melody, it's rare that we get to hear tracks like this from Stray Kids and it just shows how talented they are. This track really helps you to be able to really appreciate Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin and I.N's vocals and you just know this song live will be be breathtaking.
피어난다 (Waiting For Us)
I love the intro to Muddy Water and I love that it takes a different turn to what you're expecting, definitely a worthy track of the rap line.

As expected from Stray Kids this album is amazing and is definitely my favourite release so far, especially for their mini albums. With each comeback they never fail to take my breath away with how amazing each album sounds. I'm glad they're starting to get the recognition they deserve and I hope after 2 years of waiting, they're finally going to be heading back to the UK as part of their world tour.
