I'm back with another Korean drama, and this time it's What's With Money and my first time watching a drama with 2 of my VIXX boys: N and Hongbin.

What's With Money? is a South Korean web drama series written and directed by Park SeonJae, the series aired through Naver TV Cast, airing Wednesday and Thursday's. The series aired from the 11th of November 2016 until the 1st of December 2016, running for 6 episodes.

The students at Chun Ha Financial High School are there to learn all about money management and how finances work in the real world. Na Bo Ram is a good student who attracts the interest of two boys: Choi Geum Son who comes from a poor background but tries to gain financial knowledge to attain success in life, and Jin Shi Hwan, the son of a wealthy family who has always had everything handed to him in life. Bo Ram also becomes the jealous target of Geum Hye Ra, the student council president who spends money like it's going out of style to fill a void in her heart. When these students discover that their school is going through a financial crisis, can they use their financial knowledge to save the school?

Personally for me this series is pretty forgettable, I was left more confused by the end of the drama then I was when I started the first episode. I've watched dramas with only 6 episodes and they have concluded really well, but with What's With Money, it was like they were setting up for the next episode, when in fact it was the end, I didn't see any conclusion to whether they could save the school. I really enjoyed watching N and Hongbin but for me even they couldn't save this series, it's definitely not put me off checking out their other dramas but even without seeing any others I can say that this was not their best acting roles. It's not a drama I would sit and watch again, I thought the script was pretty boring and I would think the moral of the story would be that money shouldn't be taken for granted just because you have it but, there really wasn't any time for any of the characters to grow in that aspect. I wouldn't go against anyone that wanted to give this drama a try, but be aware that you may be left feeling that you have wasted 6 episodes on a drama that lacks in most things that I love about Korean dramas.

Have you watched What's With Money?
Were you left feeling let down or pumped up?

See you soon!
