I've shared with you every Korean release from GOT7 but I've yet to share with you the taster of a debut that JB and Jinyoung got to receive before they became a part of the GOT7 we know today.
JJ Project were formed by JYP Entertainment and are a duo consisting of JB and Jinyoung, Bounce is JJ Project's first single album. Back in January 2012 both JB and Jinyoung were part of KBS' drama Dream High 2.
On the 7th of May 2012 JJ Project - Slot Machine Teaser was released.

On the 9th of May 2012 JJ Project - JYP 007 Teaser was released.

On the 13th of May 2012 JJ Project - Time 2 JJ was released.

On the 17th of May 2012 JJ Project - Bounce M/V Teaser was released.

On the 19th/20th of May 2012 the Bounce M/V was released along with the physical and digital release of their debut single album of the same name.

On the 26th of June 2012 JJ Project were invited to record their own rendition of Yoo Seung Jun's song Na Na Na to be performed on the 2nd season of MBC's MM Choice, in April 2013 JJ Project appeared once again as actors for MBC's drama; When A Man Falls in Love. Then on January 16th 2014 both JB and Jinyoung made their debut again but this time as members of 7-member South Korean male group GOT7.
The Bounce M/V reached 1 million views on YouTube in just 2 days of it's release.
Bounce peaked at No.8 on the Gaon Albums Chart.
Gaon Sales:
12,833+ copies sold.
So far the M/V for Bounce has gained 17,346,049 million views so far with the views increasing each day.
JJ Project made a return after 5 years on the 31st of July this year (2017).
Bounce is set out in a fold out card box style case, with interlocking pages holding both the photo book as well as the Cd. The Cd design is really simple with just the JJ Project logo on the cover as well as the Cd. The photo booklet is white with the concept inside also being brightly coloured, the styling matches with the year of it's release as well as JB and Jinyoung's ages as they were both still in their teens during their first debut, the concept seems to follow a skater/rebel, but while still having fun.

I obviously found JJ Project after finding GOT7 and my first response was laughter as I was used to Jinyoung's savage princely charms and JB's chic and sexy charms, Bounce is one of my go to tracks if I want to feel energised or if I'm feeling low and want cheering up. I honestly think no GOT7 collection is complete without JJ Project. I love that GOT7 often perform Bounce and I love that their biggest fans are the GOT7 members. Even though there are only 3 songs, each track sounds different from one another while still giving that want of getting up and dancing along to them. I love the layout and concept of the single album and more importantly I'm glad that JB and Jinyoung became a part of GOT7, they wouldn't be the group they are today if they weren't members . I can't help but wonder though if JB and Jinyoung made a debut first as JJ Project so that when GOT7 made their debut there would be 2 faces that people would recognise especially with both of them making their acting debuts before making their music debut. I've recently watched JJ Project perform Bounce from their comeback showcase and the smile on JB's face reminds me not only of how far they've both come but how hard they both work too, I also love that having a comeback as JJ Project they're widening their music expertise for GOT7, I remember reading that GOT7 wouldn't have no sub-unit groups but I'm glad fans have been listened to with the return of JJ Project, I'm sure it wasn't just IGOT7 that was hoping for JJ Project to make a return, any fan can see the GOT7 members wanted them to make new music as well as JJ Project themselves, seeing how happy they are to perform their old songs and hearing fans sing along with them, they look like their embracing their debut 5 years ago instead of looking back at it feeling embarrassed by how they looked.
We'll be continuing their journey shortly so expect a new improved and upgraded JJ Project.
