GOT7 - GOT LOVE!

Hello
Annyeoung
Konnichiwa
Ni Hao

It's time to revisit my new favourite group GOT7 and share with you their 2nd release of 2014, if you haven't check out my last post for Got It?

GOT LOVE is the 2nd mini album from GOT7 and was released 5 months after their debut single Girls Girls Girls and mini album Got It? For this comeback each member got an individual teaser which was filmed from the viewers point of view meaning the members were talking to the viewers, meaning IGOT7(fandom name) could feel that their favourite members were talking to them, each members story teases the new track and was released one a day till it's release.
JB's story was the first to be released on the 16th of June.

Next on the 17th of June Mark's story was released.

Along with Mark's story the MV teaser was released confirming that the title track was called A.

June 23rd their 2nd mini album GOT LOVE was released, even though the album saw success the single failed to win them any music show awards sadly. GOT LOVE saw it's first member participation with JB writing the lyrics for the track Bad Behaviour, JB is now credited as Def Soul on tracks he writes and composers.
A peaked at No.16 on the Gaon Singles Chart, with GOT LOVE doing better peaking at No.1 on the Gaon Weekly Album Charts and No.3 on the Gaon Monthly Album Charts doing better than their debut mini album Got It? GOT LOVE peaked at No.6 on the US Billboard World Album Charts.
Like their debut mini album GOT LOVE is still selling worldwide 2 years later.
2014 - 59,752+
2015 - 4,471+
2016 - 2,474+
Totalling 66,670+ so far selling 5,959+ more copies than their debut mini album.
Also to date like Girls Girls Girls, the A MV is still raising it's views with 44,348,674 views and I'm sure they will continue to rise.

I love the layout for this mini album set out, it's set out in a glossy horizontal case a lot like GG's 2nd and 3rd Japanese albums. This album shows a different side to GOT7 showing them in a more softer and goofier light with a few stills from the A MV. The mini album contains 8 tracks with 3 of the tracks being remixes of the title track A. There's also a mixture of colourful and black & white pictures of the members.

Track List:
U Got Me
A
나쁜 짓(Bad Behaviour)
Good Tonight
Forever Young
A(Collapsedone Remix)
A(Toyo Remix)
A(Frants Remix)

For a new group I think A was a good comeback for them as it shows of a lot more of their singing skills, showcasing their talents more. For Mark with this comeback I felt that they played more into the fact that he's the visual of the group, it wasn't till I saw them perform an acoustic version of the track that I noticed he doesn't really get many lines in this comeback and the lines he does get are all in English, but hey I'm not going to complain really I love hearing Mark speak in English, I love hearing his American accent. Even 2 years down the line fans still ask Mark to speak in English. I think overall I love all the tracks on this mini album but the main one for me that stands out vocally is Forever Young, check them all out below NOW!

I'm still yet to share with you my favourite GOT7 title track but we're getting closer, I think GOT7 are a group that with each comeback get better as they get more involved with their music and grow as a group. If their first mini album didn't pull you into the IGOT7 world then hopefully GOT LOVE has succeeded, if not there's still more to come.

What do you think to GOT LOVE?
Do you have a stand out track from the mini album?
Let me know in the comments below.

See you soon!
