Exo of ExoPlanet

Ni hao

I was going to do a second post on Girls Generation but thought I'd introduce you to another of my Korean Pop Groups, today's group is called EXO they are originally a 12 piece all male group that sings, raps and dances. It's very rare to see them promote as a 12 piece as they normally promote as their 6 piece sub unit groups known as EXO-M & EXO-K. EXO were formed in 2011 and before their main debut there were teaser video's released introducing each of the members, 2012 saw their debut onto the kpop scene they released 2 songs: What Is Love & History before they released their official debut single MAMA. March this year saw the release of their second full album but minus 2 members.
EXO are a Chinese and Korean membered group.
EXO-M sing in Mandarin (Chinese) and mainly promote throughout China their members include: Kris, Chen, Lay, Xumin, Luhan and Tao. 2014 saw EXO lose 2 members in May Kris filed a lawsuit to terminate his contract with SM Entertainment stating that he was treated as an object and in October Luhan filed a lawsuit to terminate his contracted stating that it was mainly for health reasons and later revealed that SM mistreated the Chinese members (Luhan, Lay, Tao and Kris) and spent more time and money on EXO-K which contained all Korean members, there are constant rumours of other members leaving which are always denied.
EXO-K sing in Korean and mainly promote in Korea their members include: Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Sehun and Kai the main controversy that EXO-K saw was when last year it was confirmed that member Baekhyun was dating a noona (older woman) he received a lot of hate from his fans for dating Taeyeon of Girls Generation, she also received a lot of hate for their relationship.
Now EXO'S fans like most groups have a fanbase name and theirs is EXO-L and it is often seen as a statement which is EXO-K+EXO-L+EXO-M=ONE.
Possibly like some readers I'm still pretty new with EXO but I do class myself an EXO-L I have all albums minus 2 Chinese versions and their tour cd.
Well that's all for now next post will be their MAMA mini album review.
