Girls Generation: the sub unit: The TaeTiSeo

It's k-pop Monday. Today is another Girls Generation post but with a difference this only features three members with their first sub unit group. 2012 saw SM ENTERTAINMENT create Girls Generation-TTS which is the shortened name of TaeTiSeo which is the first part of the members names included in the Sub unit: the voice TaeYeon, the pink princess Tiffany and the maknae SeoHyun (maknae is the term used for the youngest)

It's reported that Ex member Jessica was meant to be part of the sub unit but was replaced by SeoHyun, personally if this was true I'm happier with this result as for the music TTS do wouldn't suit Jessica's voice as she has a high pitched voice compared to TaeYeon, Tiffany and SeoHyun.

TaeTiSeo's  first single was Twinkle that featured members of a new upcoming 12 piece male group known as Exo. Members Chanyeol, Sehun, Kai and BaekHyun featured in the MV.

I love the outifts the girls wear in this MV and Twinkle is my favourite song from their first mini album. The start of the MV features OMG and the end of the MV features Good-bye, Hello taken from the mini album.

TTS focused on the three girls vocal ranges as well as giving them dance routines and focusing on the fashion aspect something which Tiffany later got more involved with on their latest mini album and something she has constantly been interested in.

The mini album was influenced by different types of music varying up tempo songs to ballads. The theme around the album is very theatrical which has never been done with girls generation and letting them show off different styles. The album is presented in a thin box with a clear slide along cover.

Instead of the usual booklet you get in albums that has both pictures and lyrics, this album comes in a card style fold out that hold the CD and shows the lyrics.

The pictures for the album were on individual cards like postcards. All the cards were double sided featuring all the members and individual shots the reversed sides were all the same depending on it being a group shot or individual.
