THE PILOT </3

I've actually known of ONE OK ROCK for a few years and I've casually listened to them for years too, I think my introduction to them was We Are and then I became obsessed with Broken Heart of Gold. The more I listened the more I fell in love with wither music. I randomly checked out ticket prices for their Manchester show last year and couldn't resist getting us tickets and I'm glad I did.
I thought the intro for the concert was really odd, but having the album it definitely makes more sense as it's the story in the albums booklet.
I love the whole album, each track makes an impact and carries their message across perfectly.

I absolutely love NASTY, it's definitely one of my favourite songs on the album and has been since the first time I listened to it.
I love the melody throughout the song and Taka's vocals are definitely on point.
NASTY

I love the melody for DYSTOPIA, there's just something about it that calls to me. Taka's vocal tones work so perfectly with the melody.
DYSTOPIA

TROPICAL THERAPY is a stunning and breath taking song. For me whenever I think of rock bands, it's the heavier songs that come to mind. I think you can often forget about the slower songs they create. After seeing them live songs like this one definitely hit differently, the emotion in Taka's vocals is stunning and even now I feel emotional listening to this song.
TROPICAL THERAPY

As soon as DELUSION:ALL starts you know it's going hit hard, make a point and be amazing. I can't help but sing along when I hear this song.
DELUSION:ALL

I remember being gutted when another song was pulled from the setlist for PARTY'S OVER. But the more I listened to it the more I was excited to see it performed live. The intro always throws me off as it sounds more of a pop song but the way the melody kicks in always blows me away. I also love that a lot of it is in Japanese.
PARTY'S OVER

I absolutely love PUPPET'S CAN'T CONTROL YOU, the melody the vocals, the power really proves why it was the concert's opening song. I was a little thrown off though when I saw it live as they obviously performed the Japanese release and I was used to the English release. This song definitely gives me goosebumps.
PUPPET'S CAN'T CONTROL YOU

Another stunning song with TINY PIECES. The melody and Taka's vocals are stunning, this is a song that stops me in my tracks.
TINY PIECES

I love how different THIS CAN'T BE US sounds to the rest of the album. The piano is stunning and I love how they add each instrument to bring the tempo of the song up. For me this is definitely a new sound from the group and I'm all for it.
THIS CAN'T BE US

I can't listen to +MATTER, without hearing Taka in the London & Manchester tickets advert. I love that ONE OK ROCK have songs like this, for me it makes these songs more memorable, especially during their shows.
+MATTER

I think I have to say that the main song that blew me away on this album is C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y (Feat. Paledusk & Chico Carlito). I love the way the song changes us, I love the melody, I love the contrast between Taka, Chico Carlito and Paledusk's vocalist Kaito. It really shows how differences can work together. The energy of this song live is unbelievable.

I think THE PILOT </3 is the perfect song to close the album with. I love the melody and I love Taka's vocals.
THE PILOT </3

This album really is amazing, I don't think I'll ever stop praising Taka's vocals, his vocals are even better live and I'm so glad I got to witness the band live.
ONE OK ROCK have such a friendship and love with their fans and you can tell they still love doing what they do. I did feel a little bad that their Manchester show was moved to a much smaller venue, but hearing Taka say it was nice to play a smaller venue as they haven't in a while made it so much better. The energy was amazing, and I think people went even harder to take make up for the fact we were in a smaller venue.
I can't wait to see what their next songs and album brings and I love that they keep true to themselves and sing about the important things, even if that means making it political.
