You guessed it, it's K-pop Monday! sorry that I'm bombarding you with all these Girls Generation posts but they have a lot of releases (next week starts their Japanese releases) and I'm wanting and hoping to get them done by the time their new full album is released so then I can share that album with you as well as continuing my EXO, SHINee and Super Junior posts (super junior also have a new album due out), well here we go.
February 2014 saw Girls Generation release their 4th mini album as well as the first Korean release for over a year since I Got A Boy, Mr.Mr. is also Jessica's last Korean release as a Girls Generation member. Mr.Mr. was the first time I waited for a comeback and it saw a few errors, the most notable were the delay of the MV as some of the footage was lost and the early release on iTunes which saw SM ENTERTAINMENT quickly stopped. Like with most comebacks I've seen there are teasers released to keep up the excitement and anticipation.

Like I Got A Boy Mr.Mr. got mixed reviews from fans but I loved it from the start. It's classed as an electropop & RnB-pop song that mixes with a hip hop beat and an EDM build up, for me it was a new direction for the girls to go in, giving them a more mature sound. The MV featured them in a hospital reviving their Mr.Mr. and as far as I can see is the first MV and performance to feature male dancers it's also the first MV and performance that featured them in a more masculine style (they still looked really classy and pretty) and many fans were happy that in the dance break HyoYeon was finally the centre dancer.

Like most lead singles the album features the same style and setting along with another 5 amazing songs. The CD is in a box style case similar style to EXO'S Overdose album from a past post. Even thought the main colour is black it's all still stands out with the bright colours and obviously their beauty.

I can't fault any song on this EP I love them all, each song shows off their vocals and as always feel their emotions in the songs.
